Quick question, where do you find the clear hair ties that are strong enough to hold up a decent amount of hair? I have thick hair (and it looks you do too?) and when I buy those they seem to snap very easily. But maybe I’m just buying the wrong kind?

It looks really pretty! I’ve been growing my hair out for about a year and it’s finally gotten longer, a couple of inches below my shoulders. I want to try this style. I’m assuming that you used the kind of hair pin that is like a U-shaped pin. I’m assuming you used a hairpin that could be shoved in as opposed to the kind that needs to be opened up and shoved in. Regarding volume- I’ve tried it all- (rollers, plopping, used to keep my hair permed MOSTLY for volume! I’ve done powder and goopy spray). But nothing works like just allowing hair to dry going up over the pillow at night! I just make hair wash time towards bedtime and blow it some maybe (with blow dry cream for heat protection) then go to bed and put it upwards. Major volume!! Then curl the next morning. Blam! Btw you’re so cute and pretty you can’t go wrong no matter what you do ❤
