I bought some old Glenmorangie 10 from the '90s, also the Sherry finish and Madeira finish from that era. It would be nice to taste them against the current versions.

Huh. Had the 12 and didn’t like it. Had the 16 at a large tasting a couple weeks ago and remembered loving it. Lol. Mind you that was a 17 whisky tasting night so perhaps I didn’t taste what I thought I tasted. Lol

Don't hold back dude! 😂 Yeah Glenmo is really guilty at making shit duty free whiskies and apart from their core range and a few gems they're not doing great I think. Oh well, it's good to try, cheers 🥃

Glenmorangie are a great distiller so why don't I buy any of their stuff? As a serious whisky drinker I have to say that nothing they make gets me particularly interested. This stuff is Travel Retail so my spider sense is on alert even before we start. 43% is a depressing start even before we get on to the rest (colour and filtration) at £70? 'New Charred Oak Finish' and this stuff is sucking bad. Same old story with the 16. This crap is being issued by the same folk that deal with Ardbeg by the way. It's utter rubbish with no reason to purchase. I wouldn't. WT
