I work at Starbucks and I think it’s pretty cool because when our customers come in and order tik tok drinks, we will make them as well. A lot of people who. But honestly all the ingredients that are customized to that drink, is what takes so long. The list on the cup is sometimes so long lol. The top of your guest drink is just a Strawberry açaí with lemonade and adding raspberry syrup

I used to work at Starbucks and honestly custom drinks can be a pain. It definitely takes a longer time to make and during a rush period you’re making several drinks a minute. But it was fun when we’d recreate the orders to try them lol.

Being a Starbucks Barista. I love to make tik tok drinks but when I’m on cafe bar because when customers come inside it’s more a chill atmosphere. Coming through and ordering the complicated drinks in the drive thru runs our times up 😭

Honestly I quit Starbucks last October after 5 yrs. It was fun at first but I hated it. I worked at three different stores two drive-thru and one cafe only. I’m glad I left before the hype of regular ass drinks I’ve been making but making it look pretty

Starby Barista here! Typically I honestly don't mind if people come in and order the crazy tiktok drinks, but if you come in in the middle of a rush with a complicated order ngl we're all gonna be kind of salty about it, just because they take so much longer to make than regular menu drinks. My top pet peeve though is when people come in and just assume we know what goes into the drink lol. Sometimes, as other baristas have said in the comments, if you come in with a really unique order we will make extra to try it for ourselves too 😂

I totally agree, i think making drinks just gets too complicated when one customer orders like 5 frapps in one order because those are the mosttt or if it's a rush, but other than it makes us learn new drinks to try ourselves too :))

As a Starbucks barista at a consistently busy store located on a river front . We will make whatever is on the cup BUT it does take a super super long time and it can be very difficult during a busy time also the first drink is just a strawberry açaí refresher with lemonade and raspberry syrup it’s just not shaken up if you ever wanted it again but mixed

I work at Starbucks, while a lot of people know about tik tok drinks Starbucks doesn’t have these recipes so unless the customer is super specific with how the aesthetic is supposed to look, we can definitely match the flavor. ☀️ For that white mocha with peach, because they use coconut milk instead of water you’d need to let your drink (tea bag) sit longer for the tea to actually come through with flavor!

I work at Starbucks and basically all of our drinks are off the same base but you change the milk or this or that, honestly getting the fun drinks that aren’t on our regular menu is actually fun!! We like to experiment with our stuff and sometimes we will make one ourselves and give it a try because it’ll sound bomb, throughout the day we get giant orders it’s completely normal and we have a lot of fun even though it makes a mess, my favorite thing to make would be a Frappuccino because you can play with it or lattes you can play with the foam to make shapes like a heart! It really is a fun job and I absolutely adore the orders!!
