Hey Alex, have you heard of the war of the triple alliance? Basically Paraguay fought against Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay at the same time. Here's the HOI4 challenge: as Paraguay, capitulate Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil. You must declare war on all 3 at the same time. You can use road to 56.

Loved the prior games, winning against overwhelming odds cause you marry off your children to other families, then let them fight each other while you target their main source of troops before swarming the lands. Watching this convinced me I need this game in the series. Hopefully we'll get a series of this though.

This is a more confusing version of shogun 2 total war. By the way, historically the Oda clan conquered Japan but by the time they owned Japan. There was no heir to the thrown so the Oda Shogunate was replaced with the Tokugawa Shogunate. Which the leader was Tokugawa Iyeasu which closed the country to all foreigners except the Dutch. Then the US said to open the borders so they did. But only to the US, Russia, and the UK. The citizens got mad and replaced the government with an emperor.

That is hugely wrong. 1. Nobunaga never declared himself shogun and never conquered the Chukoku, Kyushu, kanto, Oshu, and Hokkaido regions. 2.Hideyoshi Hashiba, not Ieyasu Tokugawa came to power after Nobunaga's death, due to him killing the one who killed Nobunaga, Mitsuhide Akechi. 3.It was Hideyoshi who conquered all of Japan, but gained much hatred by many clans due to being originally a peasant and launching the disastrous Imjin War for 4 years. 4. Hideyoshi died with a young son, so 2 factions appeared, The Toyotomi loyalists and Tokugawa Followers. In 1600, The Tokugawa defeated them in 1600, greatly weakening the Toyotomi. In 1603, Ieyasu formed the Tokugawa Shogunate. In 1615, The tokugawa destroyed the Toyotomi and ended the warring states era. 5.The Dutch could only trade at a single port due to their aid in the Shimabara Rebellion. 6.It was the Samurai who rebelled against the Shogun, not the people.
