It's important to leave feedback as a subscriber if the channel is doing something we don't like, so that it doesn't become the norm and lead to a loss in viewership. That's it. If people were just like "eh, whatever" about Rachel possibly leaving, I'm sure none of Team TSG would feel very good about that. There are other ways to ask your community to partner for higher channel and video engagement than clickbaiting us. Other creators have had quick candid conversations of ‘hey, if you get a notification if you can just comment with an emoji that is huge for our reach and making sure we don’t get defeated by the algorithim!’ Treating us like partners and collaborators rather than data points to be duped (because that clickbait ONLY works on your dedicated audience) does wonders for expressing that you value your committed following.

Been watching this channel for years, I think maybe the reason why people got upset about the clickbait aspect is because this is a channel we watch to relax - for some people (like me) having our general anxiety triggered by something false in a space that is usually stress free is a little jarring. Truly not the end of the world, and obviously not everyone will feel this way. I think even with the changed title, I felt that “jump scare” because it looked like one of the cast was hugging folks goodbye. Parasocial or not I think we are all a bit invested in your lives and like to see you all on our screens, so it’s hard to have our feelings messed with like that. Obviously these are low stakes but life is already stressful enough so I hope this is something the team takes into consideration in the future. Maybe as an audience many of us are more sensitive than expected - obviously you are not villains and deserve some grace. Just know that many of us care about your lives and careers, and want the best for you all - so the clickbait triggered some feels! For me too lol.

Anyone wondering what the comments are going on about- they first titled it “my last project” (insinuating Rachel was leaving). But then they changed to this one. Dont know if its just be but I have noticed sometimes they post a video title, then a few hours later change it. Eg when I look at the notification and note to myself to watch, then I go back after work looking for it- only for it to look different (can’t remember which other one they did it for - but it wasn’t as click baity as this)

Super excited for the new series, as a renter I appreciate the ideas and to see your journey of decorating and I love the running title. In regards to the clickbait, I kinda think people need to chill out.. titles like that absolutely still exist on the internet. Sometimes it can help get new people to watch something. Please dont stop the series. I love the charitable aspect of your content. I have been a fan of the channel for many years. Rochelle and you are wonderful. Becky and Kelsey are amazing and their style and partnerships and collaborators are always the best. Your content, healthful, motivated to tackle DIY and whatever skills I don’t know I pick up directly from a handful of channels of talented creators. This series, particularly speaks to the philanthropic nature we should all embody, but if this really is the last of the series. I know I don’t speak for everyone, but from the bottom of me and all of my friends that love watching this type of content, we have enjoyed this series thoroughly.

Yup, this will be my next project once I can find some subway tile on FB marketplace. I started the thread lamp shade a while back and just finished it! It's not as good as Rachel's, but I'm still pleased with myself. Hopefully I feel the same way about this next project. Super excited to tile something!

I appreciate the solution you came up with for a 45 degree angle on the tile edges and will try it (using a mask and wet sanding for safety). I have a tile saw with a blade that can be angled to 45 degrees, but for small tiles, it feels dangerous. I'm not sure if I'll succeed, since mine aren't clay tiles, but it's worth a try. Thanks for the idea.
