Id like to ask u questions if that would be possible so far I got my twic and do I need my red book first or medical form and papers and do I need to go to school of some sort cuz I seen vids that say u need to take classes…is being a merchant marine harder then working a factory job because I feel like a robot and being underpaid

You submit your medical certificate form and mmc paperwork at the same time for best results. You dint need class for an entry level position depending what company you go to. And job could be harder but the pay is definitely gonna be better. Lol

Hopefully my air conditioning background and technician is some use. Change of Career been doing this for the past 20 years air-conditioning. I am fully certified so I’m looking for the transition.🫡

Go take the qmed courses. And pass them. It's gonna cost money. But you can come in with a leg up. They will be more inclined to bring you in in the engine department. You already know most of it. Should be easy day.
