Somebody needs to show Allen some love here. How about a sponsor or something. I see all these other YTers getting free shit. It's about time Allen did! He works his ass off to get what he's got. Anybody want to start a go fund me? Buddy if I had the money I'd ship you one! You'd deserve it!

Man I wish you would at least order a load of rock. I hate seeing you work in the mud all the time. Thanks for the videos
@kennymysak20793 жыл бұрын
Take one of the other ones and make a nurse tank that way you can double your volume of air and the compressor won't work as hard that's what I have and works great. Just a little idea

Too true -- tolerance for tinkering has a limit when something refuses to be fixed.

Stay away from diaphragm compressors. Piston compressors last longer, faster recovery and easy to maintain
@steveprice90593 жыл бұрын
Allen turn the old tanks into smoker parts spend the money and get a Quincey 80 gallon compressor you will never regret it.Been here done all of that.
@mahendraramsubhag94603 жыл бұрын
Steve is right you can never go wrong with a Quincy compressor
@delinquentdesign3 жыл бұрын
Quincey is nice also ingersol rand might be a little more affordable
@jeffmays36083 жыл бұрын
I like the Champion compressors, I bought a used one made in 93, with the 80 gallon horizontal tank. Use it everyday.

Good quality tools pay for themselves over time, upfront cost is more, but over time works out better.

Smokers and Grills are good Ideas! What about a couple of auxiliary tanks? have the GoodYear fill up the other 2 tanks with shutoff valves in between them...
@kenbudd33 жыл бұрын
Just turn those tanks into grills.

I have a old craftsman compressor that I bought in 1975, it has served me well for years, if I lived closer to you, I’d just give it to you.

Thanks for the advice brother it also refers to some life decisions like trying to make it work with an old girlfriend sometimes you just gotta let her go, god bless

I have the same problem. But I have figured out if I take that little check spring valve up top out it will start and run. But all the air is coming out of that passage I can hold it down to to the threads and get in warm while the compressor is running and then cut it off and screw that valve in and turn it back on and my will run like a champ all day. Until it cools off. Then you have to repeat that process.

Next time try to get a belt drive piston compressor. They last way longer and when they do fail you either replace the motor or the whole piston unit and you're back in action. Lowes, HD and HF all have them in 120v ~30 gallon units, though for as much as you're cutting and painting a 240v 60 gallon stationary would be justified.

Think outside the box! I bought a Ingersol Rand T30 with a 5hp 3 phase motor. offered for $800 as a two phase motor. got there and it was 230V 3 phase. looked up a 5 ph 2 phase motor. It was $300, so the guy took $500 for it. got home and found that I really needed a three phase rotary converter. found a 10 hp converter with a 15" Dewalt Commercial Radial Arm saw for $300 Dude offered me $300 for the saw, so I ended up with a beast of a compressor for $500! Love it.

Sir I am trying to brag. I have a Quincy Qt5 and have had it for quite some time. It has never let me down. I would recommend one that has a spin on filter. But these use to be around 2000$ or so. Single phase can’t go wrong. You might even be able to find a used one mine has a 80 gallon tank. I hate to say this but the Ingersoll rand don’t appear to be the same quality. I hope this helps.

I have 1 of those that just stopped working I think my pump has failed since it smells burnt. I have an 80 gallon compressor that needs a pump but I'm not driving 4 hours away to get it. Going to see if I can get the harbor freights working or buy another 1

put a gauge in where you put the quick connect ,to see if your making air,,make sure you watch the pressure
@hubertrobinson88253 жыл бұрын
I fully understand your misery I have an old speedaire belt dr paid 100dllars for it spent another 75 on gauges and a switch works like a dream its quiet and you can get parts at grainger if there's one near you don't mess with those funny brand compressor they're only grief any used american made compressor is better than a new one of those friend

I’ve had that problem before. I used “copper coat” and it fixed the problem immediate

Make a little smoker out of it 😆
@alextorres63333 жыл бұрын
With all due respect what don’t you just buy a good compressor? Like you did with your good welder and you’re good plasma cutter you have enough work so they won’t get paid quick enough
@ColKorn19653 жыл бұрын
I "fixed" one by taking the compressor off and plumbing the tank to use as reserve.
@bigcountry50453 жыл бұрын
make little grills out of the old compressors and sell them... make some money off of them !!!!

Does it rain evertyday where you are? Seems like most of your videos show signs of recent rain. When I lived in south GA, I* could amost set my watch to the afternoon thunderstorms at 4:00. If the reed valves didn't fix it and the check valve is okay, then it's probably a cracked piston or rings. Seems like you've checked everything else.

It’s been raining a lot lately, looks like another week of it, it will dry out soon though once the heat sets in

Those oil free compressors are made for home use and almost impossible to fix or get the right Chinese part I had one where the internal belt broke and ordered like 3 different belts nothing fit lol spend the extra 150 to 200 and get something that can be fixed
@tommyscruggs72653 жыл бұрын
I got it figured out if y’all will listen. How to make it run. But I don’t no what the soulution to fix it would be.
