That Power Pout Lipstick I just wanted to buy to compare to the blotted lips, and I had no idea it was transfer proof until I wore it to work one day. I ate lunch and drank coffee and IT WAS STILL THERE. Like honestly no transfer or loss of pigment. I just bet greasy food would influence that more but DAMN. I got Miracle Mile too!

I wonder what the cost is for those glitter shadows? I have suspicions that they’re cheaper than other kinds of sparkly/shifty shadows, and that’s why colourpop keeps using them. I think they’re trying to get on the trend of special shadows in palettes but without the cost of actual special formulas

This turned out to be a grungy look I think. Definitely something I don’t see you do lol. However it looks great. I agree that Colorpop needs to stop using those presses glitters. Sooooo many people complain about them and just wish they were not in their palettes. My pick would definitely be the Frosty palette 💯💯💯💯💯. I still love watching it. Oh thank you for this video, Angie!! I haven't been keeping up with Colourpop as much so this is a great refresher. I agree with the pressed glitters. That is part of the reason I stopped buying their palettes. The Frosty The Snowman palette would have had my heart if not for those glitters!! If Colourpop really wants a glitter finish, they should emulate how East Asia does it, which is similar to the glitter finish Supershock. Not gritty, not plastic-y, but a beautiful "glittery" topper finish. Until then, I'll just watch your Colourpop reviews for my fix!

I bought the Stranger Things palette and I'm considering the Frosty the Snowman palette and highlighter set. I love the Stranger Things palette because as you said it is versatile. I don't watch the show but the packaging is super cool. I really enjoy the new matte formula. I bought a deeper red and it wears well on me. Thanks for the review! The eyelook turned out very cute. I don't think we missed the first pale shimmer and I wouldn't have noticed if you didn't mention it 😅

It stinks that the most interesting colors in their palettes lately are always those pressed glitters (they have the biggest shifts and sparkles). I also refuse to use them, so I haven't purchased any of CP's newer palettes. I would have been tempted by Frosty otherwise.

I would have used the red where that lavender shade is and have lavender on the bottom. It would be purrfect! See purple has both red and blue, so those 3 shades actually are from the same family. I am an artist, and the colour wheel has the primary, secondary, and tertiary (3 colours to form 1). The opposite is a colour that pairs perfectly with it... I love eyeshadow because it is an art we create and love, or hate it. 😅 Hope that was helpful to maybe 1 person. Hahaha. ❤😊

I don't really purcahse from Colourpop anymore. I bought a number of lip products and palettes over the years, but kept finding the lip colours pulled really orange (no matter the colour) and so I just stopped trying their stuff. The previous years of weekly releases also just really turned me off.

I wasn't allowed to play with bratzs dolls as a kid because my parents thought the makeup and clothing were 'slutty,' annnnnd now i do my makeup and dress like a real life Bratz doll anyway so glad I didn't confine to their small minded perspective of the world.
