When i got my barricade lucifer a month ago, i glued the rubber contacts immediately cause it's soo bad. Im just glad that you did it as well because it means that the mod i made to it is worth it :))

Truly, an amazing bey. Loved the spin steal survival. Blader: You think you have won...? BARRICADE LUCIFER! SPECIAL MOVE!!! ~As Lucifer slows down to the last bit of its spin, its bit-beast/avatar awakens~ Blader: *REVERSE REVIVAL!!!* ~On its last few rotations, Lucifer uses the rubber on its wheel to absorb the hits... If you take off the barrier your taking away the only thing that makes it good. In real life. Barricade is gonna fail horribly against right spin opponents. But against left spin opponents. It does an outstanding job and is actually really good. Especially against left spin attack. The barrier will help soften the impact from left spin attack and hard OS it.

Barricade lucifer does not suck. It's main use is against left spin opponents and does very well on bearing drift. It can spin steal your opponent and is actually a dominant bey if used correctly Plus. If you take off the barrier. Yes it'll do better right but it still gets clapped because there's better options for right spin defense. And when you take off the barrier it'll be worse against lefts because it won't be able to soften the impact.

I feel like they shouldve done the rubber bits how they did it with Vari Ares in metal fight, make those parts retractable. So when Lucifer starts spining at high velocity the rubber portions will begin to expose themselves more but as the battle goes on, they retract

Barricade Lucifer needs an entire rework rather than a new combo, and here’s what I’d change: 1. Give the core metal and rubber burst stoppers so it’s actually faithful to its previous evolutions 2. Make the blade a right spin vanish with the rubber being in the shape of the end and the middle plastic being in the shape of variant since the one that we got is literally a viper Hydrax clone 3. Give it the 5 armour because it’s morally correct 4. Give it a new BU lock disk by giving it a similar gimmick to Jerk 5. Give it Bearing Drift’ because they’d be able to make all three cap variants of the driver, and also because Bearing Möbius topples over too much from the unnecessary height change and it barely has any good use for same/opposite spin

Removing the barriers is enough to make lucifer the best bey so far , nothing can defeat it , no stock combo can , it unbeatable , has the most stamina and still hard to burst and hard to knock out bc of it insane defense , if they made it with no barriers , it would have been the strongest bey that has ever been made , and even some competitive combos wouldn’t be able to defeat it
