I played it as a kid on GameCube and started replaying last autumn. I spent time drawing the map as much as possible and read carefully what the fish said, which made the game quite a bit easier! Well, it also helped that I already remembered a lot (surprisingly much after 20 years) but the fish gave good reminders :D
