Interesting for me yesterday. We had a major snow storm in Oregon. The day started with a really good order taking me to Talent just outside of Ashland... I took it, but I was very concerned the app would try to take me to Ashland and thats exactly what it tried to do. It kept sending $3.00+ a mile orders something you never see one after the next as I declined them all. Ashland was snow packed and it is hilly. After the fifth order I declined I paused it so I could get back to Medford and safe. They say they try to keep us safe but ... I don't know sometimes....

My noon and early afternoon shift was slow today only made $78 in 3:45. Dinner shift was killer and racked up two catering orders and made $124 in 3:30! Not bad for a rainy Wednesday up in the hills ;)

3:23 They might have health issues or be a bit on the older side. I have issues with my spine plus have a partially torn rotator cuff so I'd just rather have someone deliver those waters to me along with any other bulky items.

This was the slowest day I've had so far. 4 hours made 58 dollars. 6.50 on uber eats. I stayed parked most of my time. It was pitiful! Lol ran into another dasher at zaxbys and he said the same thing. Hopefully tomorrow will be a lot better hahaha. Money vs actual time was good, just a lot of waiting. Stay safe!

Yeah... I don't get cases of bottled water when I order groceries. I do get cartons of juice sometimes but none more than 1.5 liters maybe... the juice is easy to fit in with all my other items in a bag The cases of water should be purchashed alone. That's it's own trip but people already used to this will go ..insane..

We had incentives for two days was able to make a little more money this time. Love that I had 3 days of scheduling so that helped a lot good hrs too. Hope they will have more for scheduling the would be nice but our city is not huge here but its growing we need more restaurants at that. Their building too many homes than entertainment here. So I'm lucky if I make what I can get.

Doordash got me today. I had a 93% and they sent me an offer for $4 going 9 1/2 me so I declined it and it dropped me to 91% acceptance rate. The next offer they sent me was way worse but I didn't want to go under 90% on my acceptance rate so I took it it was $7.45 for 13 miles. I should have just kept taking all the orders, lol. Not only did I have to go to 13 mi out of the way for this delivery but it took me out of my county and my regional area and took me over to another regional area two counties away. Then I had to drive to 13 me back to my town before I could get any more offers. They got me today really good 😡

70-75% is probably a more reasonable place to be... You get stuck with those junk orders if you try to keep it too high.

I'm rocking a 43-49% most days because I try to be smart with my picking. Today for the first time I unassigned and I'm not surprised because it was a Wingstop and they were swamped, without an ETA. So on to the next which ended up taking me back home and tipping extra because i was way early. Win win win win😂

Got me today I got off the highway turned DoorDash on. They sent me a $4.75. 11.9 miles trip. I went to decline while driving my stupid ass hit accept had to unassign cuz that’s trash dropped me from 100% completion to 83% I’m not starting off too hot 😂

When you get there you click directions then exit DD says are you in the right place and you click ok

@@Aunty87 yeah and it’s also area dependent. Just like everything else about the apps just about. But like a lot of people talk about a summer slow down. In my area it’s the opposite but I’m like we’re a bunch of bays and is it a lagoon whatever those houses with the dock that I’m going blank out, even though we used to rent one for a few years from a friend back in the day. My husband and his cousin we’re big into boating 🛶 , so they were partners on a boat. But anyhow I’m like seven minutes from the actual ocean. So yeah, People vacation around here even though I don’t personally understand it. 😂 which obviously brings an extra clientele. And obviously mainly in the summer.

DoorDash was completely slow today like big-time slow and my ratings aren’t bad. Good thing for Uber eats today I think I’m going to change my strategy up a little bit I’m not gonna go out all day anymore I’m just gonna go out lunch and dinner and that’s it. Also, I got some things to do tomorrow I filled out an application for my local sheriffs office. I’m gonna go turn it in tomorrow and see how it goes.

I just said the same thing about New Jersey in a different comment! 😂 restaurants will give you brown bags but Dollar General you either have to buy a bag or bags or just put the stuff back in the car till you get to your car and put it in one of your bags. Depending how big the order is since they never tell you to buy a bag or not but I hate spending other peoples money without their consent. At this point out if it’s a bunch of items I’ve just decided that they expect it or 🤷‍♀️ but one time I put like five or six items on somebody’s porch. I don’t know if Mom was fighting with her teenager who stayed home from school or some thing but somebody didn’t sound happy inside. Of course they didn’t open the door so I left so I have no idea if it was the individual items on the porch. There is nothing like personal hygiene type or pregnancy tests lol or anything like that there, but like I said, Idk 🤷‍♀️.
