It is definitely a real number. You can see the 4 next to the 0, and from doing a reverse phone lookup it seems like it’s a mobile number from British Columbia in Canada.

This felt so much shorter then 8.5 minutes lol. Felt like I was watching a 3 minute video 🤣 Can't wait until the new episode and see what happens next. What's sad is no matter how hard people try there's no way that these scammer call centers will be shut down. 1 shuts down 7 more open. The only true way to make this stop is spreading more awareness of and educating everyone you know what to look out for so they don't fall for it when called. That and also scam baiting the Scammers, play games with them! Keeps the phone line busy and also wastes their time. Just call and mess with them, be rude to them like they are to Everyone they are trying to scam, always giving major attitude. Disgusting way to behave in general but especially disgusting when trying to get money out of someone for nothing.

At in a chemo infusion room while a wealthy old dude next to me got literally the exact SSI scam, verbatim, “Steve” uses, because he has it on speaker. Finally I had to say something. I was floored. Nurses backed me up, the scammer said to ignore us, he decided he would just go sort it out at the SSI office after his infusion. If I had known the office as well as I do now (and still see him around), I would have grabbed the phone and been like “this is an old dude dying of cancer, his SS pays for his treatment, he doesn’t need the stress, please tell him it’s a scam and find a new mark.” Also my aunt fell for an email saying she was the “only living heir” to a fortune and got wiped out because she kept it secret from... her parents, siblings, and niece. ONLY. LIVING. HEIR. All 3 of her siblings and I work in IT related fields...
