My AK held the bolt open once, but it wasn't the last round. The rivet holding the gas piston to the bolt carrier stripped right off and jammed the piston in the rear position by occupying the gas tube. Shitty American made Century rivet.

Love the video. For safety to new gun owners, correction that 5.56 and .223 are NOT identical and interchangeable. .223 Wylde and 5.56 guns can use either, but 5.56 has about 7-10k higher internal working PSI, so you must use .223 in .223 rifles.

@@tres8003 imagine spent cases getting ejected up into the dust cover on an AK. Seen it. Been there. It's not a magic super weapon and they're subject to failure just like anything else mechanical. If 7.62 was so great, there wouldn't be 5.45. It's easy to hate the AR-15 if you have a budget gun that runs like crap. Get a Noveske, Daniel Defense, Seekins, etc. Then you not only have a great gun, but (unlike an AK) it has a long sight radius, good scope mounting options, and unlimited ways to customize it. I've shot enough AK's. If they were that great, I'd have 3 or 4 by now.

The top scope provides moral support for the bottom scope, since the AR-15 is often more accurate than the scope you aim it with. This way the scope doesn't get too depressed and cause your shots to go high.
