I freaking ADORE this show. The story is great and it feels like it gets bigger between both parts. Most of the songs don't really mean anything. Well they mean something, but it's not really directed towards a person or thing. There's meaning internally, but it doesn't go with the story. The only real relationship is just the friendship between Carole and Tuesday (not romantically, but hey if that's how you see it or want it to be, that's fine too). You have to listen to Angela's songs, too. I'm Not Afraid of Love and The Tower will bring tears and it just hits so strongly when knowing the story.

I have no idea what you're talking about, the majority of all the songs DO relate directly to the story, and have meaning. It's LITERALLY an entire plot point that Angela's songs tend to be about what she's currently feeling. Just as an example "All I want" is directly related to her crush on Tao, and her constantly seeking his attention only to not get it. Don't even get me started on After the Fire and all the others. There are very few songs in the show without any meaning, or relation to the main plot, which is a big part of why I love the show so much.

Personally, my favourite song is Someday I'll Find My Way Home! The lyrics are just so warm and comforting for someone who's always been anxious about what to do or where my life is going. They have overlapping lines too, my favourite part is the 3rd part of the song where Carole and Tuesday's lines overlap. So good!!!

There's Sci fi elements in the show, like it takes place on Mars. So in KISS ME, she's not talking about dying, she literally means leaving the current planet for a different one, so almost akin to leaving the country or some such. No worries Bill! (That's not a spoiler so I hope it's cool I'm just shouting this). Good video so far!

Yaaaay, you finally made it to Carole & Tuesday! I'm too suspicious to say, I love this anime so much, but I think you should see it, even if you don't bring it to the channel later. It's a story that talks about dreams, about being who you are, about fighting for the right things. You start off thinking the ending is going to be a cliché, and you're surprised it's not, not even close. I often listen to the songs, they're in all my playlists, especially the last song featured in the animation (and I recommend you listen IN THE ANIMATION or if you're not going to see the anime, so you don't miss the fun of the surprise). Anyway, you do a wonderful job, and I'm shocked how well you can dismember the lyrics of what you evaluate. Be alright :)

Aaaah, I love this show! It's so fun and charming, there's really big sweeping drama and hopeful aspirations I think you will really fall in love with as you see them play out, there's like, a billion more songs to hear and react to, and the jokes and humor are so strong it'll really knock your socks off when you hear what goes on in this show! I just finished this anime so naturally I'm searching for videos of people talking about it because i'm obsessed with it. PLEASE watch and react to it, the songs all become better when you see the context of the characters' experiences, and also there were a few incredible tracks you missed out on and absolutely HAVE to hear and see. I think you'd also love how the show represents people of all types and tackles a few real world issues that stay relevant even today, which is funny because the show takes place on mars.

the show really puts the songs into prospective well except the Mermaid Sisters song "Fucking Bullshit" that song I believe was added just for comedy in the show as no other song in the show is like that. The point being is people should watch the Anime which was written by the same person who wrote the anime Cowboy Bebop. Also the song "Mother" is amazing and well worth a listen

I so hope you make some more content about Carole and Tuesday. It's not without its flaws but the music is truly excellent and it's great comfort TV imho If nothing else I hope you do eventually rank the songs. They're so excellent and I know you'd enjoy them (I'd also *love* to see rankings for other music laden shows). The song After The Fire from the second season seriously got be through some of my roughest times at the beginning of the pandemic.

My favorite thing about this show is all the imperfections they leave in. Most music is so curated so hearing the squeak from the guitar strings and the beautiful but not quite perfect singing that really sells this music for me

The show itself is held in high regard it's made by the creators of cowboy bebop, and exists in the same cinematic universe, but it's more than great enough to stand alone!
