I know this is kind off irrelevant, but I actually have a tattoo with some "Here comes a thought" lyrics. That song is so powerful, I listened to it while I was really depressed, I wanted to kill myself. I found that my girlfriend was drug trafficking at night. I tried to talk to her and it didn't go well. I was so devastated. But the lyrics "Something you did, that failed to be charming", "What someone said and how it harmed you" made me realize how it wasn't my fault that what I said didn't work, she was the problem, she was doing me harm and not me to her. I swear when I heard, "Take a moment, remind yourself, find yourself" I realized how much I had lost myself, I wanted to commit suicide due to the bad decisions of another person. That song saved me, and im not exaggerating. Every panic attack, every night crying because I didnt know where she was, if she was okay. Okay, but "Love Like You" has gotta be the real MVP song of the entire series. Rebecca has said since the beginning that it's a song any one character could be singing to another character, and it's so appropriate that the final season (Future, that is) focuses solely on Steven being the singer of it directed towards everyone else. Everyone's always wanted to be able to love like how he loves, but the way he loves has ended up hurting himself more than anything. The line "love me like you" is especially true here with how heavily he deals with self-loathing in the last season. It's really an incredible song to span the entirety of the series and encapsulate the whole thing within one tune.

Basically this show was the best show ever. It started with cookie cats and ended with home-made cookie cats. 2013 - 2020 May 21, 2013. It was born. March 27, 2020, it’s ending date. It’s been around in every fan’s life. It is a good show because of how the show basically has musicals and musicals that match the gems and all. Thank you, Steven Universe. No, that's just allergies, really. Seriously, Steven is the antidote to toxic masculinity. Seeing him be completely unconcerned with how boys are supposed to act has been liberating.
