Since I'm in college in 3D animation I must say that this is everything you shouldn't do at all. Ratatoing actually released a month before Ratatouille, and it featured the same shitty script writing principles, but a lot worse. Rat based world where nobody looks like a fucking rat? Check. There's no actual protagonist or antagonist to determine in order to suffer through a moral? Check. Animation in Ratatoing is actually worse. They reuse a lot, a LOT. You just have to look at the "female walking" animation they just did that they used for every "female" character.
