If the fly catcher don’t end up working, you should try the apple cider vinegar, sugar + water solution, but instead put it in a disposable cup and place a yellow fruit fly square/rectangle sticky trap (you can get it on Amazon) along the rim of the cup. The solution in the cup will attract the flies and they will get stuck to the sticky trap as they land on it. This is my staple and has always worked wonders getting rid of those annoying flies and gnats.

Squeeze a half a lemon in a small bowl and put the squeezed out lemon in then microwave for a minute then use the lemon to help get the stuck stuff off

Hey Trinity!!! You can cut a lemon in half squeeze some juice out, place in a bowl (with the lemon half) and put it in the microwave for five minutes and it’ll smell better and do the exact same thing 😊

I believe that the fly trap will work the best! I don't know about that microwave cleaner, it needs to be thrown out and away...that's more clean up! When you can make your own concoction in a microwaveable bowl it won't smell up the house and no mess to follow neither, I have done myself. No mess.

I had a whole issue with fruit flies that came from some sweet potatoes I didn't put in the right place 🙃😩 I was so annoyed and they made me itch just seeing them flying around even though I know they're harmless. I just put out a cup with vinegar and they were gone in like a week. I was sooooo annoying though!
