Hello, Shinichi, Satoshi, and Justin! Thank you so much for this video! I am so happy you enjoyed the treats (except for poor Satoshi, who got the licorice jellybean - sorry, Satoshi)! I was so glad to see you enjoyed everything. I was thinking you'd like the onion chips. They are really surprising! Shinichi, I have the same problem with rice crackers. I love them, too. It warmed my heart to see that Justin enjoyed his new toy. I can't wait to see what you do with the cooking chocolate! Thanks for making my day! Hugs to you guys. :-)

I've not ever seen them. I also love your hand-crafted items! You're so talented!! Justin loved his gift as well. It was fun to watch him going to town with it! ((Hugs)) to you Erin, Shinichi, and Satoshi! ❤️💙💙

Mindy's Mom All of the items I bought were made in Northern Calfornia and I was able to find them in our local grocery stores. The onion chips are really interesting; they are relatively healthy, as they are not cooked with oil, and they are actually very light. I think I bought them either at Safeway or at Nob Hill (also known as Raley's, depending on where you are, but I'm not sure if they have stores in SoCA). They can also be ordered online. I can make a suggestion of where to order them online if you wish; just let me know. I, too, was so happy that Satoshi, Shinchi, and Justin enjoyed the things I sent! :-)

PS You were discussing the word, pecans. It's very interesting. People pronounce it differently depending on where they live in the United States. Most of the country says peh-CAHN. In the southeast part of the country, they pronounce it PE-can. Basically, you can pronounce it whichever way you prefer!

The JR Sure! The coasters are a downsized version of the knitting pattern, Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth. You can find it online, and just make it the size you want for a coaster. The crocheted potholder is very easy and fun to make. You can also find the pattern online. Try searching under the terms "crochet double thickness diagonal potholder." I hope this helps! Totally agree with Jelly Belly's Jelly beans! Currently I have the little "box" of "Cocktail Classics" jelly beans from Jelly Belly. The flavors are Margarita (green) Peach Bellini (orange), Pomegranate Cosmo (pink), Pina Colada (light yellow), strawberry Daiquiri (red) and Mojito (transparent kind of green with green spots, as you can see it in Mojito drinks!) I HATE licorice, too. lol I have cranberry in dark chocolate, just like the one you ate, Cherry in dark chocolate, and "Intense dark Cherry Tango" from Ghirardelli , in my "candy stash" at home, currently! Ghirardelli makes so many different kind of flavors! Pecan is very common in eastern (southeast) part of US (dk other parts of US..).Even in those areas, they pronounce it different, and I was surprised. Delicious. If you have a chance to visit US in the fall, try Pecan pie as well as pumpkin pie. They are def. the treats for the fall. :) Yum!

I vote YES, YES, YES for you guys doing the BeanBoozled challenge! You must do it on the livestream. I love playing that game. We did it for my nephew's birthday this past April and while we suffered, we had SO much fun. Some of them really taste gross, but trust me, you will have a lot of fun.

Wow, I know Dang makes amazing coconut chip, I hadn't seen onion chips yet! If you are ever in central California, you can go on the Jelly Belly factory tour! Very cool, and a fun gift store. You can get "Jelly Flops" only at the factory. These are beans that don't pass quality control because of shape, size, color, or even mismatched flavor and color! More fun than a regular jelly bean, sometimes!

If you like Jelly Belly jelly beans you should check out the Jelly Belly factory if you're in the SF/Bay Area they have a self guided tour that takes you through the production and you get free samples at the end, plus they have an awesome shop and cafe- with food shaped like jelly beans :) I went when they still had tour guides but it's totally worth it if you like jelly Belly jelly beans and they have a chocolate/wine tasting room that's not free I think it's around 20 dollars :) love the food that was sent, and the hand crafted items I have to find some of those onion chips they look so good :)

A suggestion for the baking chocolate, which I found on yummly.com. Can't wait to see what you make with it. I really enjoy watching your reviews. You're an adorable couple :) Thanks for making these videos! Raspberry Cream Cheese Brownies added by Kelli Thomas Cook time: 35 Min Prep time: 15 Min Ingredients 4 oz unsweetened chocolate baking squares 1/2 c butter 2 1/3 c sugar 1 tsp vanilla 5 large eggs 1 c flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder 8 oz softened cream cheese 3/4 c raspberry jam Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and chocolate in microwave. When smooth add 2 cups sugar and the vanilla. 2. Beat in 4 eggs with mixer. Add the flour, salt, and baking powder- stir this in by hand. 3. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/3 cup of sugar, and 1 egg. Mix well and spread over batter in pan. Cover with the raspberry jam. 4. Spoon the remainder of the brownie batter over the jam. Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Interesting, been learning Japanese and today I'm trying to remember the word food. I pronounced "tah-bet" several times before noticing it sounds really similar to tabi. I originally came here to ask why the channel name sounds like "tah-be" instead of "tah-bet", but then I thought maybe I should see if tabi has a singular meaning..."たび" travel. Makes so much sense, now I feel stupid rofl. It helped me though cause now I gotta remember to clearly pronounce the words as they're so similar. Tah-be for travel, tah-bet mo no for food.

mike lights I agree with you. I think most of these came from "white" American grocers like Whole Foods or Trader Joe's because of the packaging. I've also never seen any of this stuff and I'm from California but then again, I mostly eat Asian food and snacks and then general American snacks you can find anywhere in the states. The onion chips where quite interesting though.

Wow!! Really? Mike lights and Allison Tran...... Please don't be rude! If that's your opinion, then you should keep it to yourself! Who cares if they're from Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, or wherever else...... it's the thought that counts!!
@aznmochibunny7 жыл бұрын
Mindy's Mom I wasn't being rude. I was just stating an observation. There is a difference. I grew up differently from the person that sent a lot of the snacks so I don't know what is truly "Californian". I know that it's the thought that counts but I don't think I was being very rude.
@erinuber28817 жыл бұрын
Hi Allison - I can understand that you had a different experience growing up. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. All of these products were made locally; one way to tell is by reading the label to see where they were made. I bought the snacks at local grocery stores. We also are very fortunate to have Asian grocery stores in our area. I shop at them, too, and I'm so thankful we have them.
