When she ate the seed pod... You're supposed to take those out since the capsaicin (spicy chemical) is really concentrated there. The spicy chemical is meant to keep mammals away from them and let birds (who cant taste it) eat them. This is because the seeds pass through the birds unharmed and can grow wherever they're dropped.
@theSkin_of_a_Killer_Bella Жыл бұрын
Doesn’t that beat the point?
@berrymayhem6174 Жыл бұрын
@@theSkin_of_a_Killer_Bella No, you can still enjoy the spice from the other parts of the pepper and preparation of them involves removing it most of the time. Like it is stupid hot in the seeds even on milder ones and especially in super hot peppers, the concentration of the seed pod gets dangerous. If you're asking if capsaicin failed its job in making mammals not eat peppers however, you're completely right! But they still propagate successfully because of our desire for their flavors so I'd say they're doing just fine

simón jajajaja. But also, adding cream cheese + jalapeño to takis sounds good. I'll probably try it.

So I am not Mexican, but I love spicy food and I eat a lot of it because when you are Portuguese (what I am) you are basically fed spicy for the moment you turn 5 and takis are my favourite, but my little mouth is sensitive so tips and how to make it less spicy but still spicy? Like I would use cream cheese right?
@anahongow58014 жыл бұрын
@@sophia2375 a lot of cream cheese. Also getting rid of all the seeds/core of the chili. Another great trick is to let the jalapeños (already de-seeded) sit in olive oil for a few hours, they will lose some crunchiness but they're a bit less spicy that way (it has worked for me)

In Brazil, we eat avocado with milk and sugar! We use a mixer, and for most of us, the "strange" way to eat it is salty hahahhaha 🖤 sometimes we eat it with lemon and sugar, tastes reaaally good tho

So glad you made jjajang myun. It’s one of my most favorite dishes. I love the instant version too! You might be able to find the right fresh noodles in the Korean refrigerated noodle section. At the restaurant we went to growing up, jjajang myun was served with thinly sliced cucumber on top and the crunch is good!

When she said the jalapeño wasn’t that spicy I was like girllllllllllll🤪 it depends on the jalapeño you get, you have to get the correct ripeness. And also, the seeds is what makes it spicy for the most part, so you basically took the spicy out 🥵

To get rid of garlic or onion smell from your hands and fingers, rub your hands/fingers on some stainless steel (like a sink or something) and the smell will go away. There's literally stainless steel "soaps" made for this ✌️

My dad makes the best avocado smoothie and I think you should try it Naomi! It’s basically a ripe avocado, sweetened condensed milk, ice, and a bit of water. Blend the avo, condensed milk and water, then at the end blend in the ice cubes, but keep the ice a bit chunky. It’s sooo good!🤤

when doing the jalapeño takis thing it’s important to get out ALL the seeds. that’s why at the end it was spicy b/c there was most likely still seeds at the bottom
