Mexican fan here! The "Taco in a bag" it's actually a really common street food here in MEX, and it's named Dorilocos/Tostilocos (thanks Abril!); we usually use Tostitos but also other kinds of chips like Doritos, etc, smashed or not (commonly not smashed). The bag is then cut from the side, not the top (that's actually the signature ot this dish) and you can put all the toppings you want like salsa, melted yellow cheese, cucumber, meat, chamoy, etc etc etc. It would be really fun if Naomi tries it someday! :D

@ChristinaVVM2 жыл бұрын
Ragu is the name brand of a terrible tasting popular jarred spaghetti sauce (marinara) here in the US. No one here would call a bolognese a “ragu” unless they are of Italian heritage so I think that’s where Naomi had the hiccup. “Butter girl” should have used a store brand or something like Prego or Classico because it’s too confusing if you know what a ragu actually is and Naomi did. So the taco in a bag thing, it's commonly called a "walking taco". It's crazy that people think walking tacos are a TikTok trend 🤣 We literally had these for school lunches when I was in MIDDLE SCHOOL, like 15 years ago. These have been around for decades, and they are best when made with original Fritos and you don't need to smash the chips!

Ranch is so good! In the US it usually a salad dressing or dip. If you add it to sour cream, it makes a dip. You can dip all kinds of things in it like veggies, chips, or pretzels. You could also use it as a marinade for meats and veggies.
@ggt22052 жыл бұрын
I think Americans obsession with ranch is weird. I understand using ranch for certain things but people use it on ALL of their food. Literally, my brothers kids won't eat pizza, chicken or French fries without it. I know a lot of adults that are like this also. It makes me wonder if they even like the food they are eating or do they just like the ranch. I know people that won't eat specific food because they can't put ranch on it. One of my good friends puts ranch on spaghetti and if she comes to my house for dinner she brings her ranch with her. That's an addiction.

As an American who has grown up with ranch in almost everything, I much prefer using Ranch powder to make ranch dressing/dip than the store bought bottles. I usually make dip by mixing the powder with either sour cream or cream cheese, but I've also made it by adding it to heavy cream (or half & half, or even a mix of cream and buttermilk) and whipping it until just stiff enough that it's not liquid anymore (I mean, if you want to whip it into ranch flavored butter that's up to you, I won't judge. Lmao)

10:10 Ok I have to say this. RAGÙ "ALLA BOLOGNESE" doesn't exist in Italy. I'm from Italy and we only eat and cook the "classic" ragù, in which there are meat with tomato sauce and other vegetables. I think that the "alla bolognese" part was added because the ragù was "invented" in Bologna, an Italian city.
@giorgiadiiorio27012 жыл бұрын
actually ragù exists in the south too and it's kind of different so I accept the "alla bolognese" but she compares it to bolognese that doesnt exist...its just tomato sauce
