A couple things with kiddos… Some of those snap bowls that lay flat then snap together are amazing for crafts and such (your activity book. Board last. Not first. Having to entertain your kiddo during boarding then put it away for take off sucks. Don’t bring out the big stuff until over half way through the flight! Just being on the plane will entertain her for a bit. Pre-download shows on a tablet. Don’t bring that out until everything else is failing! And don’t forget headphones for her. Lastly, give her and yourself grace. It will be fine.

We travel with our 3 year old at least once a month, and my biggest advice is dont overload their day. I used to think packing in all the experiences was essential to having the best trip and sometimes she just wanted to stay in the hotel room and color. They dont always want days and days of activities like an adult would. Just keep that in mind.

Hey! I fly with my little travelers (5 yo and almost 3 yo) almost every month since they were 4 and 5 months old. Some of our flights have been over 10 hours long direct while other shorter flights required multiple layovers. My biggest tip is to give A and yourself a lot of grace and patience. A few other things - let your child play as much as possible in the airport, board last, preload shows, bring a ton of snacks, keep your toddler medicine kit close by (chewables are great), have a change of clothes in the event of an accident, and plan an easy going first day when you’re at your destination (follow her tired cues).

Just travelled with my toddler and had great flights both ways. I had a big tote bag with all the amusements and snacks to keep everything in one place and accessible during the flights. I brought colouring and the “water wows” as well, which were useful. I also got a few new books that I didn’t give him till we were on the plane. The biggest hit were the snacks-I had tons and just let him eat as much as he wanted to. For the trip, I brought some of his favourite snacks like fruit packs, granola bars and smoothie bites. They were well worth the suitcase space because it was helpful when we first got up in the morning or while we were on the go. If you go to an all inclusive, baggies for snack food are also helpful. My son used them for his beach treasures too. :) Last tip! If you’re going to an all inclusive, a stroller rental can be extremely helpful. We got one and found it so helpful for transporting our toddler's stuff around the resort and giving him a break from all the walking. Hope that helps!

As a swimming teacher I always suggest water wings (disks) over swim vests like those, especially for children who are at an age and stage where they cannot regain their feet independently

Snackle box!!!! It’s like a fisherman tackle box… but filled with snacks. Kept my little guy entertained for at least 45 minutes before I even had to pull out any activities! Also, pack an extra pre made snackle box for your suitcase so you have another one for the trip home.

I’ve traveled with multiple small children and I really recommend the car seat travel bags that can be worn as a backpack. Soooo much easier in the airport.

I felt EXACTLY the same! I was so anti younger men… Then I ended up having a one night stand with a guy who was seven years younger than me! I didn’t know his age until the morning after.. I was 32 and he was 25! I was on holiday and lived in a different state, was not looking for a relationship at all! Kept in contact though and about six months later finally decided that we would give dating a try. Fast forward five years later and we have three children under three, and we have the most happy healthy relationship that I never knew was even possible… it really doesn’t matter about the age it’s more about the maturity of the person. He is the most open communicative understanding and supportive man I have ever met ❤️

I think age is just a number. You can date a guy 20 years older that acts like a child or a guy much younger that’s extremely mature. Character is everything ❤ Thanks for the travel tips 😊

My husband is 6 years younger than me. I NEVER would have imagined myself with a younger guy. We met when I was 27 and he was 21. It felt like worlds a part at that age. He was partying, I was ready to start getting serious. But it worked. He is the greatest man on the earth. I never even think about our age difference now. Good luck lovely lady!

I like blue lizard sunscreen. Sometimes I can find it at tj max bc it’s expiring in the year . Also love the puddle jumper float . It helps them be independent in my experience vs the traditional life jacket design. Have fun . Hope your guy works out you deserve it

I’ve traveled with 3 under 4 over a dozen times and less is more! I got a led drawing tablet for each child and a few cars and action figures and they were good to go. AND, if all else fails, turn on their favorite tv show. It usually puts them to sleep. Oh, and lots of snacks. I get them special snacks - something we don’t usually have - and that is a big hit!
@jojocrater111 ай бұрын
Wee heads up, the pink PFD is NOT a life vest, that means that it will not turn a child face up in the event of a drowning. It’s great for splashing about, but don’t rely on it! Every child flotation device must be used with direct supervision, even a life jacket, but a life jacket WILL turn them face up in a worse case scenario. 100% Agee with the blackout blinds, those are amazing 🙌
@tamaracube0711 ай бұрын
Thank you, I was just about to leave a similar comment. Those types of vests are swimming aids, not life vests. They offer good support in getting comfortable in the water, but will not prevent drowning. Very important difference!

I guess it depends on how much younger. My husband is only one year younger than me, but we met when we were 17 and 18 and never really felt a difference (he's WAY more mature than others his age and has always been so I felt like I was a few years younger haha). It's been 10 years so clearly it worked out well! It's all about their individual maturity and what stage of life they're in. We have a little one on the way and would've been ready for it years ago, but we wanted to be in a better financial situation first and own a house, but him at 23 was at a stage in life where he was ready for kids while some men aren't ready until 35+ so I wouldn't focus on the age, just on if he's in the same stage of life as you

Age is less important than maturity and character. Only date men who have had at least 1 serious relationship that lasted 2-3 years, preferably where they lived together. Remember, you are looking for more than someone who is hot, nice and fun to hang out with. You are looking for someone who understands how to be a true partner. Ask questions that help you assess that, but also observe their actions. Do they act like love is the enjoyable parts about you, or love is the service, sacrifice, and support they give to you? Being a man's training wheels for a serious partnership is a massive gamble - you typically lose and the next women profits from the work you put in. Only date man who have the foundation setup to be the type of partner that you deserve.
