My Asian parents expect me &my siblings to give them money on a recurring basis…and make negative comments if the amount is too small (in their eyes). Wonder if she has to deal with that and how does she handle it?

I am an immigrant mom of 2 kids in the US. even though I didn't come from poverty, I don't think I will ever feel like a belong here. So your parent might be looking over their shoulders because even though they have the blue passports, they don't feel like this is home. so they, like me, might not know where they belong anymore.
