Oppressive, humid, paranoid, fluctuating between distant and close, a wonderful range of emotions are felt. But what utterly completes the atmousphere projected is the album art. That murky and yet viseral glimpse of a truly demonic creature is engrossing. You can feel a power of a time where a terrible will guides the creatures of the earth. Even though the creatures may be dead, that will lingers and is brought to bear here.

Am I hearing things, or does "Hipbone" incorporate the melody from Akira Ifukube's "Godzilla Comes Ashore" from the original 1954 Godzilla film?

Someone knows his kaiju OSTs ;) I certainly wouldn't put it past Tryptacobithicus to incorporate such a classic into their work...
