I really love this route! It's very tasty, CHARA-cterization wise. The "fake joke" option dialogue in the Sans fight? Fascinating!!! I love how.. depressing it is. Delicious angst!!!!!!

Personally i think the whole reason as to why Sans is so negative about you trying to change is that due to the resets and his strong awareness of them he remembers having to deal with people passing and he much rather everyone be dead with a ruthless killer so they don't think about it then most live with the knowledge that some are dead and a reforming killer

I...might've done this route a little different -I exhausted the kill count for the Ruined Home except for the knights, so everyone's still in that town -Spared Asgore -Exhausted the count for Starfall Isles, but I spared the navy dogs -I still got Muffet with the skeleton bros, but I accidentally killed Muffet, who was saved by Crossbones, who was pretty pissed off with me than usual And the rest....history. (basically what happened in 43:13 and beyond) Oh yeah! Sans' dialogue was actually a little different, but nothing major tbh

Crossbones would definitely be disappointed in you trying to harm Muffet even though she probably deserved it after baking spiders, baking literal spiders which is cannibalism for her and she would probably turn monsters into pastries if given the opportunity.

It’s pretty weird that once you do a genocide run, even after aborting it, your crimes stick with you, via the usual neutral dialogue being changed to have some genocide-esque vibes.

And it's because the underground is far more reactive in TS!Underswap. If you kill everything in Ruined Home, Asgore will warn the whole Underground outside. And if you start killing everything in Starlight Isles without having done any murders prior, the Navy will quickly react and start evacuations (The Evac Neutral sans fight implies this), and that also carries to the rest of the Underground and so on. It is far more than what the original UT ever did, since if you exhaust area's kill counts without initiating geno in the ruins, the game would carry on like normal neutral with your main actions not being acknowledged until san's judgement.

PS!Outertale is still pretty reactive and will be even more so in the full release. The Underground will operate on a gradient scale depending on how many monsters you killed and those actions will linger on throughout the game. And it's Darker Neutral Route (The Evac Neutral of this game) will have it's own exclusive content and fights too.@@jason256-8

Fun fact: You can actually still do the date with Muffet even in this route if you go back to her after Koffin-K runs away from you. I haven't tested it yet but I think you can probably do it even if you abort Ruthless on her. It doesn't give any unique dialogue though, and Sans doesn't mention it.

I tried killing Koffin K on the pacifist route, but it didn’t happen. When he reached 10-15% of his xp, his body vanishes and it’s just his hat. He is disappointed in us, and if we attack him again, we will miss because Crossbones manages to save Koffin K. He simply says “what was that?”. I didn’t play afterwards but I assume you are still on the pacifist run, and I don’t know if Crossbones words in my playthrough are different because I did Genocide first
