Perfect flying day Andrew...I have two of the original TS832, its large, but max RF output can be found on Channel 34.....There are some big differences in output depending on the channel you select, like a lot of other brand 5.8G vtxs....:)

Andrew I have that unit on my F550 hex and I get about 400 meters but I bought the 2000mw tx and I haven't found the limit yet much farther than my radio by a long way works through trees far better than the 600mw only downside is you need bigger batteries for longer flights it goes through small (1000mah) batteries in about 15 minutes . But for a plane it would give you miles of range . At 400 feet in open land maybe as much as 10 miles or more if you were up pretty high .

My TS832 transmitter 48 ch. runs on 7 -16 volt, My X380 has two groups of outlet pins, one is 12 volt and the other is 5 volts. I am using the 12 volts pins for the Gimble. I don't want to add another small battery just to run the TS832. Is it safe to split the 12 volt power going to the Gimble to run the TS832 as well?

Is it possible not to use separate battery to power up video tx? for example, just use the airplane battery
@AndrewNewton
@AndrewNewton 7 жыл бұрын
Yes that is the usual method. But you will get interference on the video transmission from the ESC. May also need to add a power filter. A separate battery for the VTx gives the cleanest video.

Hi. If I have a Eachine 5802D dvr monitor (5.8 GHZ) do I need to also get an additional receiver or is there one built into the 5802? As in, do I just need a TS832 with my Eachine 5802 to get a picture (if using a camera)?

Have a look at the specs for that DRV screen Robert. "Built-in 5.8Ghz Dual diversity receiver automatically for best reception" You can plug in an external video receiver but there is no need, it already has 2 built in.
