Rob, thank you so much for what you do...putting out all this information about travel to Cebu and other places in the Philippines. It's such a huge help and so much better than just trying to find places with a Google search and travel websites. Quick question: What is your favorite/top few favorite budget hotels in Cebu?...including the nicest, safest areas, etc. I'm currently going through your lists on your website. Thanks!

+Jason Hi Jason thanks for that! I have a passion for travelling and having stayed and been to many places I was sick of the bs (ie this is the best hotel in Cebu - when they have only stayed a 2 hotels). The cheapest hotels are located in the down town area of Cebu, but this isn't the most nicest areas of Cebu (especially if it's the first time to Cebu) - its crowded, old and dirty. But if you can handle that it gives you a great inside to the culture - you can see street food and a lot of the best tourist (historic) spots. There are a number of pension houses around the R Landon Street (just off Ramos Street) such as Skypark Pension, JL Suites, LS Pension, Teo Fel, Robes (and more) all walking distance of each other, so you can see which one you like. Around Ayala Shopping mall is my preferred area in Cebu, the cheap ones are Red Planet, Pensionne la Florentina or Islands - although these are a little dearer than the previous area. You can also check out around Capitol Area/Fuente - Executive Pension, Fuente Pension House, Shamrock Pension and others around there . Cheers - Rob

I book this hotel this coming Oct 17-19 they have hair dryer? In the room? How much the cost of taxi from airport to the hotel Thank u its a big help ☺️☺️☺️

Depends on traffic, using a white taxi a ball park figure of 200 PHP. Don't remember about the hair dryer, sorry!
