We stayed there on the 7th, we usually stay in the Elegant Circle inn that you showed in front of it on the circle. We met the owner of the Fuente Pension on one of our previous stays while going through the bypass of Sampaguita Suites and learned she is living in America. She invited us to check out her hotel and we ate dinner on the 6th floor that night. We have to agree its not bad for the price and has some western influences . The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

For some reason that is my favorite neighborhood to stay in Cebu. Stayed there, across the street at Apple Tree and down F. Ramos Ave at the Diplomat. Diplomat rooms are HUGE in the older section of the hotel, and cheap.

Ok, for 1 person for a couple days. Also, another professional tip for "budget minded" is free MyBus to SM Seaside and to Robinson's Galleria Mall both available at Fuente. The MyBus is found in front of the BDO and the Galleria bus is found in front of Robinson's.

Fuente Osmena Circle, I really enjoyed my stay in Cebu City. The Pension Houses are Nice and a Great Value. Making me want to go back to visit... I liked checking out the old battle fort near there. Fort San Pedro.

Yeah, it's close to the hotel I stayed at when I was there. Close to Cebu Doctors University, Robinsons Centre, lots of pharmacy.

Great find...I stayed at the Cebu Business Hotel on Colon and Junquera...similar price, good internet, a breakfast included but the location of this one is far superior...Osmena Circle at night is truly beautiful...all of the lights and the lit elevator down the side of that high priced hotel. Planet X...hmmm :)

I used to stay here last 2004 when I had my, together wih my Mindanao Stae University-Main classmates, psychiatric duty in VCMMC. We stayed there more than 1 month... I loved the place so much

My god I have fiber to the home and rarely get more than 6 mpbs up and I am plugged in directly to my modem, thanks for a look at a great bargain in Cebu I will certainly check it out when I visit...did you say Mango was just around the corner hehehehe.

Another great feature of Fuente Pension is their 24 Hours stay, which means you get a full 24 hours for a day’s stay. E.G. You check in at 9:30 am you check out 9:30 am the following day, or you check in at 7pm , check out is 7pm the following day. Most if not all hotels would charge you 2 nights for these.

Ned that was a dam fine place for 1000 peso . i guess you are using Chong Hua hospital i went there myself in June 2018 i was very impressed at the level of treatment and the modest price

@Jeff...You're right. Chong Hua is the best hospital in Cebu, though a bit costly. Chong Hua has a state-of-the-art modern hospital, called Chong Hua Hospital and Cancer Center, in nearby Mandaue City opened in 2015.

Compared to Cambodia, that's a $10 a night room. At that price you can get a hotel with a pool and gym, but I guess it's a good deal for the Philippines ?

G hotels. 700 pesos 15 dollars per night. Clean basic and no dramas. Can have guests and late check-out

Nice place but the looks of that breakfast, I don’t know... meat-free “ham” and fruit-free “marmelade”, but lots of sugar in everything except the egg :D I like the Red Planet - a bit pricier and no breakfast included, but Ayala Mall across the street.

Me Anderings - I thought the same thing until I watched the live streams from Chris in Cebu who walks the area constantly. The immediate area around the circle is fine if you take the usual precautions. And you’ve got the what is arguably the best hospital outside of Manila (namely Chong Hua) right there.
