Does anyone know how the GL automatically reloads after a perfect guard in 1:00. Is that like a armour skill thing. Because in my experience the GL still has to be reloaded manually after a perfect guard

They're using the guard point from reload to block the roar, so their shells and wyrmstake get reloaded even when the perfect guard animation is triggered.

Sneak attack. Approach a monster without being seen and press O or B(controller).

how do you do the opening. every vid only mention the combos and not the opening of the hunt

Well if you can sneak attack, sneak attack then do shell, moving sweep, then wyrmstake full blast and chain it. If there's rocks etc, hit it to drop it on them and do the shell, moving sweep, wyrmstake full blast combo. After that, if it staggers or topples over do wyvern's fire. If it's an aggressive monster fish for Perfect Guard Reload/clash. If it's a clash then do the wyrmstake full blast sequence, if it's aggressive do overhead smash into full burst. Focus mode and Augur Drill when you can to also topple it over for the wyrmstake full blast sequence.

To do that attack, approach the monster without it noticing and you weapon sheathed. You will see a prompt to do the sneak attack. If you play with a controller, press B or Circle depending on which type you use.
