ZX4RR is same peak horsepower as R7, it's just a lot harder and unforgiving to maintain that 70 horsepower on it compared to the R7. It would be cool to see them battle on a track in the hands of someone good who can keep the 4RR above 10k rpm the entire time. Normal street riding though? R7 gonna win majority of the time.

@@amisfitpuivkit really is in the tune on these things. With the flybywire throttle the tps is soo restricted from factory when your fully pinned at most rpms ecu is telling tps your at 50-80% throttle, remove that restriction and it feels sooo much better. Increase airflow(pipe and intake) then tune it and they’re an actual race ready bike. Still not a straight line bike tho lol

The ZX4 is such a cool bike. I'm glad Kawasaki is selling it, and I'm glad people are buying it. Unfortunately, I can't ride it for long due to back problems, but I would get one if I could ride it. I know they make a naked version for Europe. Wish they sold that here.

Zx-6r. Step UP. Not down. Good on gas mileage, has some pep, and higher up in the rpms get away from trouble speed. Im too broken physically for mine, spinal fusions, but I man up and take short rides anyway. Gotta have SOME fun😁

the Ninja 650 is quicker than the ZX4rr to 60MPH and possibly the 1/4 mile. But after that the ZX4 will walk away all the way up to 154 MPH. The 650 tops out at 130. A step up would be a ZX6. I have a Ninja 650 & a CBR650. My son is getting ready to get the ZX4rr 😉

Your boys were 100% in the wrong gear. The US market zx4rr is capped to 56hp and makes 25 ft lbs of torque. The R7 makes 75hp and 50tq. With double the torque and the same weight you’re gonna get demolished below 100mph. With an ECu flash you can get ~75hp out of the zx4rr but you’ll still be way down on torque so under 100mph you’ll get walked. As for the GSXR he’s gonna walk the both of you up top no matter what you do. I use to ride with my buddies in Cali and on my tuned Super Duke 990 making 135hp and 85tq I could hold off a GSXR 750 to 130-140moh but after that I got pulled in mostly due to aerodynamics. As for my boys GSXR 1000 it was even to maybe 100mph and then he pulled on me like I dropped an anchor. So your buddy on the ZX10 isn’t trying at all

I have a Kawasaki C14… sport touring. It’s running low 10’s in the quarter mile. 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds. Top speed in 4th gear of 160mph. 140 whp without ram air effect & 100 ftlbs at the wheel. It weighs 670 lbs wet and pulls power wheelies in 1st… no clutch up shit. 70 mph in 1st gear too. Think you can beet my sport tourer?😂😂😂😂 I have 11 years experience and over 60k miles under my belt. I also have a stock 08 cbr600rr that weighs 410 lbs wet, 105 whp & 49 ftlbs, 0-60 in 3 seconds, quarter mile in 10.5 seconds. I put 40k miles on it. No way you could beet either of my bikes homie. No way. Ride safe bro but quit saying the zx4rr is faster than a 600 super sport in a straight line race.😊
