Math is not my strong suit, so sorry if I'm wrong about this- but I think you might have gotten the wrong answer for #26. You solved for width, but it says to solve for length, which is 6 inches more than the width. Wouldn't the answer be C?

this video was such a huge help for my exam. im missing a lot of math fundamentals, so free tutorials online that are easy to understand like this one are such a blessing. thank you for uploading. ive been studying polynomials lately, but i had a lot of trouble with #8. how could you possibly know if the 1 is negative or positive when you factored out the last term?

I am using the difference of two squares technique to factor a polynomial in the form a^2 - b^2, where x^4 - 1 is equal to (x^2 + 1)(x^2 - 1). Honestly though, whenever a multiple choice question boils down to "which expression is equivalent to another given expression", I would just use the strategy of plugging in a simple value into x, evaluate with the calculator, and check which answer choice equals the same number.

You can do it! Don’t forget to use test taking strategies like working backwards from the answer choices. Think of the confusing ones as a puzzle that have a solution as long as you think logically. Good luck!

To calculate probability, divide the number of desired outcomes by the total number of possible outcomes. In this case, there are 2 blue marbles out of a total of 16 marbles. 2/16 reduces to 1/8. (To reduce, divide both the numerator and the denominator by 2)
