I thought it also changed his Origin and Affinity to Blade (or Sword unsure of which because I've seen it go back and forth) that having Avalon implanted in him extended his life greatly and also would have ended up helping get to the eternal paradise of Avalon where Artoria was waiting for him.

Well it wasn’t to keep him leveled. It’s just that universally Projection magecraft is doo-doo. Shirou is the only exception since both his Origin and element is “Sword” so he can project Swords to near perfection. If Shirou projected anything else it’d be doo-doo.

Thus, Shirou gets weapon smithing. - Instead of joining the archery club, Shirou commits to his Origin and his connection with Taiga to take up Kendo. Thus, whilst not an expert, he’s a pretty good swordsman by the time of the Grail War. - Then the Grail War starts. Shirou summons Saber, and through their connection, learns to project both Excalibur and Avalon. - Throughout the war, Shirou clashes with EMIYA. Through the past-future-learning effect, he learns about UBW. If EMIYA has to donate his arm in the war, that connection will complete the learning. - Shirou encounters Medea. + Rule Breaker. - Shirou encounters and fights Gil, and probably beats him due to Gil underestimating him and getting destroyed by this stronger Shirou’s improved UBW. In any case, + whichever prototype NPs Gil uses. - Some version of Heaven’s Feel’s ending occurs. Ilya saves Shirou with a completed Heaven’s Feel, so when he’s reborn he has infinite mana. - Unfortunately sometime after the Grail War the Mage Association would show up to seal-designate him. It’d take awhile, but Shirou being the overly just person that he is, would probably concede. But not before trying his damndest to be a hero of justice and probably learning some Muramasa secrets on the side. - Eventually he dies, but is conscripted by the Counter Force. Through his experience as a guardian, he gets even stronger. A few rogue Grail Wars here, a few larval Beasts there… - Instead of being suicidal like Archer EMIYA, this version’s wish to free himself from the Counter Force would involve using Grandpa Muramasa’s dream. Either by Singularity or by rogue Grail War, this version of EMIYA attains an iteration of Tsumukari Muramasa. He uses its fate-defying powers to cut himself off from the Counter Force. And from there, the ultimate protagonist can go off to do whatever he likes… which, despite this being close to a Heaven’s Feel route, will probably still involve being Saber’s cook.

Grand Saber is described as "Holding the Holy Sword made from the stars to fight the threat against Humanity", which is a clear ringer for Arthur/Artoria. So unless this alternate version of Shirou managed to get the approval of Excalibur, it's kind of hard for him to be the Grand Saber. PS: The description for Grand Rider is "Riding the Origin Beast of Calamity, Steering the Ark to save the World", which all but spells out Noah.

One thing is that if Shirou ever semi merged or got possessed by Hephaestus he could make, and use all divine noble phantasms he has without any drawbacks including Excalibur and if he has muramasas sword along with heavens feel perpetual motion machine he would be able to essentially endlessly sever fate, karma and other things. Without a doubt the most powerful version of Shirou would be an alternate dimension where HE was the last Master in FGO instead of the player character. Not only would he encounter numerous Noble Phantasms but would never HAVE to share his mana with his Servants and they wouldn't be weaker because of him either. Additionally, since he meets and can summon multiple versions of Emiya the memory/skill absorption he got in UBW and Prisma/Ilya would be way more effective. It might even extend to Muramasa. Plus there is the added benefit of the best mages and warriors in history to train with, including Kiritsugu as Emiya Assassin. I'd like to say he'd at least have 1 Avalon if not multiple because this is a composite Shirou Emiya/Heroic Spirit Emiya's (Nameless, Emiya Archer/Alter, assassin), Muramasa, Amakusa. He'd receive support from either both the Mooncell and Counter Force at the same time or separately depending on the time and situation. Edit: He was possessed by Angra Mainyu and so he has a connection to him and because this is a composite Shirou Emiya he'd get the wish granting ability Angra Mainyu had as well as his knowledge, weapons, powers, and skills. 2nd Edit: I forgot he'd also have at least 3 if not more holy shrouds.

They are embodiment of concepts themselves, they dont have any flashy weapon that they use like Excalibur or EA, their whole existence is defined by their class (something Shirou can copy, do, and imitate). King Hassan just shows up and easily kill Shirou without difficulty. Easy as that. Immortality? That doesn't exist to KH. Copy KH's weapon? KH only has an ordinary weapon, his NP is literally skill and faith. Shirou somehow blocks that because overhype? KH has his Zabaniya that kills every one that sees it, no one is an exception. That's just one of the grands. He could technically be able to defeat Orion because Orion is not that strong againts humans anyway. He can't do shit about Romulos=Quirinus, since that dude is equal to Zeus. Give it a break. Stop this overhyping madness. Shirou is barely in the top 50's. He can't defeat Grands, then by virtue he loses to every Beasts, then by losing to Beasts he wont even stand a chance againts Type's. If you are going to factor in Amakusa Shirou Then you should also factor in the ability’s Devil Amakusa Shirou from the Shimosa singularity. The curse of Annihilation that can allow a servant to regenerate from just a finger, the Onriedo Castle (which might be a part of Devil Amakusa Shirou’s reality marble) where anyone caught in it area of effect are turned into monsters. And he has Another reality marble The Hell of Shimabara which can burn the atmosphere and turn anyone’s lungs to ash that are trapped inside it. Add that version of Shirou and his abilities become even more BS.

His usage of Excalibur has nothing on common with a broken phantasm except for the destruction after usage part. It's power scales with the durability or quality of the item used to execute the Noble Phantasm, so no it's power is not remotely comparable to a Broken Phantasm.

Put simply if Shirou reached his absolute max potential, no one could stop him. Think about it for a second, Unlimited Blade Works not only allows him to make near perfect copies of any weapon he's ever seen, but his tracing also allows him to understand the weapons history and by extension perfectly utlize the skills and techniques of the wielder, effectively meaning he can fight with a near perfect imitation of their skills. He's effectively an army of legendary warriors rolled into one, only held back by his limited mana pool and lack of proper training. Take away that limitation and you basically have a god of combat with a tool and skill for any occasion.

For Excalibur , I also didn't mean that he would have the power of the original, but he certainly would have a power very close to it due to this shirou having Muramasa skills . Let's say for example that if the full power of The Original Excalibur is 1000, Shirou would be able to use 900 or even 990. That would be enough to make a difference i believe. Especially if you combine it with his Infinite magical energy. And it's the same for every other Nobl phantasms and skills he will be able to use. Concerning Goetia Incineration of Humanity, if Shirou is able to use Avalon as a Nobl Phantasm (very possible he might be able to as he have it ...) , then he'll just evade it as it transport him to an entirely different dimension from the material and physical world : the Tower of Avalon where Merlin reside; or rather the world of Avalon as the Tower is just located in it. AAS just wouldn't affect him just like it didn't affect Merlin or anyone in it which is completely logic as it is located in a different world altogether; Whatever damage AAS did to the physical world , it will only stay *there* and not reach Avalon. It's basically a buffed Kamui. And since where talking about a Shirou with an incalculable amount of Nobl phantasms from legendary Heroes, He most likely would have a nobl phantasm or skills that would cover any weakness he may have, like Goetia ripping his soul as you've mentioned. This particular point in question makes him completely versatile as Its only limited by his imagination and the numbers legendary heroes from humanity and their individual skills that he has in his possession . And I'm pretty sure you and I don't know how many legendary heroes there were in humanity or at least in Unlimited Blade works (said heroes weapons in it and their skills tied to the weapons in question). It's a really close and Interesting match up.

This is sounds like fanfiction from miles away , but as a fanfic I think it could sound possible using nasu-verse logic as a character created by some of the root's nonsense special servant amalgamation thing. because Shirou is undeniably a low tier mage who happens to had the perfect circumstances to get jump starts most of the time from his future self who already had a stat bonus from Alaia plus a bonus from actually being a servant when he was summoned . Honestly, his potential was obvious the moment Shirou created a whole new Magecraft by completely f***ing up the process of Gradation Air. He took something that was viewed as useless in combat and made it into his own branch by doing it ass-backwards. As an untrained Magus cannibalizing his nerves to turn them into Magic Circuits because Kiri never taught him how to utilize his own... Yeah, properly trained, he'd be OP, and he'd likely have either the Clock Tower, Gaia and her minions, or Alaya and her Counter Guardians after his ass, maybe all three... Don't forget that there should be an as of yet unseen timeline or two following the Archer route of Fate/Extra and Fate/CCC where he should have a Regalia, thereby giving him functionally endless mana and processing power, that specializes in recording all information on Earth, making massive constructs, and generating Noble Phantasms (and the Servants that wield them). It's not inconceivable that his Reality Marble could end up becoming a mix of his own Unlimited Blade Works and Iskander's Ionoi Hetaroi, where he generates countless replica Noble Phantasms and am equal number of replicas of their original masters. Hell, maybe that's his own version of Saber Venus' (Archer Vulcan?).

There’s actually a really well written fanfiction where Shirou ends up reaching near his full potential called From Fake Dreams. The fic starts with kiritsugu gaining memories of all the endings (bad endings including) of the original fate game. Grand Saber/Archer candidate- EMIYA Alter 2 aka Super EMIYA aka True EMIYA. With broken abilities like Berserker Lancelot whereby he heals through the damage he inflicts and the phantasms he produces are a -1 in all parameters but he can use their noble phantasms or be straight disrespectful through casting his own overedge on them or merge them together. Gae bolg breaking into two spears or swords with Diurmuid's mana cancelling before used as long range projectiles an example.

Full potential emiya is him projecting full auto sniper rifle NPs shooting broken phantasm excalibur morgans, or whatever the most powerful NP weapons he can get his eyes on are. And he can project multiple of the same NP. Like so much of what you talked about is so irrelevant because he’d just summon a gate of babylon ass wall of those things from a city away custom designed for the opponent he’s facing at such high output and quantity even possessing the original wouldnt matter anymore. A BP of the best NP is probably ranking 2nd best overall so when you have 30 or 30,000 of them it can overpower any NP around. Man could probably project a shotgun whose pellets are each a broken phantasm. And slow time to deck you with it. Him having sword skills or similar doesnt even matter at that point. When he has absolute rank 1 firepower from any distance the only stats that matter to him are perception and reactions. Both can be bolstered by mystic eyes and kiritsugus time magic respectively, but unless he got his hands on some god tier mystic eyes, like better than the train could typically stock, he isnt gonna have top tier perception, and while kiritsugus magic is pretty good for the very human mages in the settings of zero and stay night, it’s pretty weak at the scale of best in verse. Also his defences are best in verse with a complete 3rd magic nothing is stopping him projecting multiple rho aias or any better defensive phatasm he can grab at the same time. So realistically, he’s still very much an archer, his only weakness is getting blindsided so he always wants to put space in. And in particular he acts as very much a kiritsugu of a different power scale. Most effective when he can research his target to use NPs they’re weak to, and better at initiating combat from a point beyond where they opponent can fight back. (I would consider a cross continent BP a top tier equivilent of blowing up your entire hotel)z

With enough practice, effort and energy you can create the most overpowered BS whenever you want... Not to mention muramasa being part of his lineage he can make anti-BS weapons. cutting concepts... he can alter stuff even if it limits to his small amount of Od's if he can alter a weapon and save the blue print let's say, alter Gae's blog into a sword and give it the concept of sword it will be easier and stronger projection because of his origin and element and work virtually with every weapon in his arsenal, in Miyu-verse he also projects Divine-Construct which I don't know which if it stronger than Excalibur that is Conceptual Weapons or not. there are also theoretical techniques he can learn with his reality marble, like instead projecting it to rewrite the world he can manifest it inside himself or the weapon he uses to limit mana intake, there is also a technique used by Muramasa to combine sword, it means if Shirou wants to learn he basically can alter, recreate and combine any weapon that exists in his reality marble like a sandbox game, and if he can recreate stuff by altering it a new thing technically he can bypass Gaia laws make him into the level of Magician. most of this is far fetch though...

The problem with Projecting Excalibur is that, no matter how much energy you have at your disposal, it will always be incomplete for the sole reason that it wasn’t made by humans, nor (from what little I know) was it made from normal metals. It’s the very concept of victory in the form of a sword and was made by the Fey. That’s why EMIYA’s version is called Excalibur Image, as it’s a very much imperfect replica of the genuine article. Edit: also Shirou Kotomine is an entirely different person from Emiya Shirou, so his abilities can’t factor into Emiya’s.

In Oath Under Snow its not shown in the Movie but he DEAFEATED EVERYONE in ONE NIGHT. Miyu wished to be saved and unconsciously gave Shirou access to her Mana reserves as a Lesser Grail itself which is why he could even use UBW before he burned out his own reserves. Still not infinite but he said every single sword contained in UBW could not stop Ea which is an instant win button.

So in conclusion, if Shirou is or has become his full potential, he is; A literal threat to humanity, literally somewhat being a beast of humanity or a complete beast of humanity, needs more than just a sealing designation, becomes a god, has gods living inside his body if he ever fuses with them (most possibly hephaestus) and has Muramasa inside him, has a lostbelt UBW that is possibly looking more a lot like his version of Avalon, tracing so powerful that even divine constructs are not even a sweat for him to copy, his Rho Aias would be the most powerful divine shield, able to wield Tsumukari Muramasa and use Tsumakari Muramasa multiple times meaning; Unlimited Spam Works, without even dying, his sight would be extremely powerful that helps his tracing thanks to his Mystic Eyes, making him able to know every and all the other servants if he is ever summoned as a servant and is able to wield them all, the strongest servant you could ever possibly summon, is a great candidate for the title of Grand Saber, and overall a literal threat to anyone who opposes him, and for fucks sake he can even do more if he ever wants to!!! No wonder he wasn't trained properly by Kiritsugu, Shirou is just borderline- no scratch that, he is completely like a God of Gods!!! His projection/tracing ability could or can possible even evolve into the True Magic of Creation!!! Like holy cow!?!? Even EA can't beat him if this version of Shirou is canon, Shirou can literally just create multiple EAs to counter a singular EA or just make a weapon that's a complete counter to EA, maybe even possibly upgrade Tsumakari Muramasa or make a weapon that's stronger than Tsumukari Muramasa as well, making Senji Muramasa's dream sword looking like a small achievement on what he can actually do!!! DAMN!!! I may be extremely overexaggerating things or making complete nonsense here, but Shirou has just way too much damn potential to be just a VN protagonist! My take on the stats on this version Shirou is this: Strength: EX, because of his godlike strength and feats Endurance: EX, because he is basically immortal, plus the regeneration from Avalon Agility: EX or A+, this one debatable Mana: EX, don't even need to say anything else because the video already said it, plus he is able to trace divine constructs! That requires absurd amount of mana! Luck: E, because you know how Shirou always has E rank luck Noble Phantasm: EX, I mean, come on? Did you really expect something else? His UBW is a complete Lostbelt by itself! He can even create divine constructs, traced or created by himself!

This sounds remarkably like "From Fake Dreams" Shirou with a few notable differences. Firstly, FFD Shirou is a form of Demi-Apostle who can cannibalize his own blood to power Avalon and knit himself back together with UBW. (He was bitten and infected but the Apostle was killed before it could form a link of paternity + wierd interaction with Avalon) Second, he's become one of the formost experts on Fae thanks to his efforts to understand and use Avalon and he can make perfect copies of it thanks to it being ingrained in his body for so long (though he can only use it's more passive functions at increased power and efficiency) Thirdly, he was both the Emiya crest AND _THREE_ swords made from Kiritsugu's remains, one for each origin (binding and severing) and one that is effectively the origin bullets in sword form... all empowered by the Angra Mainyu curse, so much so that the dual origin sword hits the SOUL as well. He also saw memories of the 4th grail war from both Waver and Kiritsugu so he access to several weapons from that war as well. He's also partially materialized his reality marble into the world permanently thanks to an accident during his fight with Gilgamesh, so he has a gateway into his reality marble through his arm (his body is made of blades) He also accidentally helped start a new field of study that's basically reverse enchanting, removing concepts from things instead of adding them. Wood that has the concept of "burning" removed for example. If he sounds OP, he still routinely gets bodies by servants but he also had nearly a decade to train and learn how to stack the deck in his favor and he typically fights like Kiritsugu does and baits his opponents into opening themselves up.
