What a wonderful place. I haven't been since I was about 15 and would love to go back some day! I wonder what Christos and Nikos are up to these days! They used to own the Miami beach bar which was a wonderful place but unfortunately, from looking on google maps, it is no longer there. I also wonder if Spiros is still about, he used to do boat tours to the shipwreck and other places around the island. I can't remember ever meeting a single local who was anything but an incredible host.

Got back earlier this week and yes it can look a bit tatty and the rubbish collection does need improving to improve the look of the resort but we've only gone the once but we can't wait to go back. The weather is superb ( depending how hot you like it ), the locals are lovely , restaurants and food are fantastic and the views and scenery are wonderful. There's quite a bit of building work going on and the whole resort is set to expand. Get there before it gets too commercialised - you won't regret it.

Got married in tsilivi In 2008 and have not been back since loved zante went there 3 or 4 times it does not look like it has came off well after the economic troubles looks worn down tired and messy which is a shame think ill be leaving it another few years before I go back from what I have seen 😢😢😢😭

The video made Tsilvili look bad, i can confirm that it actually looks and feels nothing like that, i have been there every year for the last 6 and am going again in 3 weeks time. The beach is much better than the part the driver showed. It does have the feel of a village rather than a strip and so is great for families, i would certainly recommend give it a go. taxi from airport is 22 euro and any trip in Tsilvili is 6 euro

I went for the first time last month and the first time to any Greek island. It was nice and chilled apart from the gypsie rose people. That big pile of rubbish is still there it must get cleaned up now and again as I saw a guy starting to fill a skip with it. I would go back but I'm going to try another Greek island next year.

Its a shame to see tsilivi in that state, rubbish everywhere dust, it just just looks a mess. ☹️
