No I did not. The speed booster does NOT work with aps-c lenses. The sigma 17-50mm f2.8 is aps-c.

I use the canon ef-efm adapter. viltrox also makes an adapter (adapter, not speed booster). The canon is more expensive and from what i have heard, the viltrox adapter is the same quality.
