PLEASE, players are being paid off to lose to novak and that is almost a fact. He is not as good as beating these top players in straight sets. He is good, has many majors titles, but not like this. He beat Rublev who beat Rune who beat novak in a previous tournament. Yes, you win some you lose some, but not like this. Either the major(s) and organizers, advertisers are paying them off, or gamblers-namely. They want the white man to tie and pass the Spanish name in majors count. Theory? This is logic and very obviously so. Rune smoked him very recently, yet novak crushed Rublev who beat Rune last match? I don't think so. Yes, it is true "you win some you lose some," but NOT with that score. People ARE being paid off and the ITF and ATP need to do something about it. Novak is not a current legit champion. It's evident Stefanos was paid off.

I have watched Novak play tennis since the very beginning of his career when he played his first australian open back in 2005 when he was defeated by eventual champion Safin in the first round. I can honestly say that defeat was a learning curve and a wakeup call for him which made him work extra hard from that day forward to become the best ever in continuing to break records. He is truly the GOAT of tennis.

PLEASE, players are being paid off to lose to novak and that is almost a fact. He is not as good as beating these top players in straight sets. He is good, has many majors titles, but not like this. He beat Rublev who beat Rune who beat novak in a previous tournament. Yes, you win some you lose some, but not like this. Either the major(s) and organizers, advertisers are paying them off, or gamblers-namely. They want the white man to tie and pass the Spanish name in majors count. Theory? This is logic and very obviously so. Rune smoked him very recently, yet novak crushed Rublev who beat Rune last match? I don't think so. Yes, it is true "you win some you lose some," but NOT with that score. People ARE being paid off and the ITF and ATP need to do something about it. Novak is not a current legit champion. It's evident Stefanos was paid off.

I love the fact that despite the disappointment in not winning the tournament that he senses more value in losing that match and recognizing he could be better, and he’s just coming to terms with that. I’m so glad that Novak came to prove the game better than what Fed and Rafa could, new levels of fitness, movement, shot making, defense, strategy and mental toughness. Now Stef and other new gen will build on the shoulders of Nole’s even taller shoulders. And yet as Nole is gracious in recognizing, he stands on the shoulders of what Fed and Rafa proved about the game (and Sampras, Borg and others before). There’s satisfaction in picking the right horse back in ‘08, but I would love to believe that someone will find it possible to surpass Nole, how beautiful and inspiring they will be. I want to continue to enjoy this amazing game after Nole’s gone.
