hey there, first of all i can't even begin to express my gratitude for your guides & pastebin stuff! Now I've run into a problem with TSM lately, which is whenever I try to do Shopping search with one of your groups it looks like not all of the available auctions are showing up! This also applies to your groups that have no operations set up! Thanks in advance

Ty for the awesome vid!! One question/issue: when I use the copy paste from wowhead to tsm group maker, the checkboxes are being included in the output and I have a whole bunch of "i"s mixed in with the item ID #s. Any suggestions on how to fix that? What browser are you using? Thanks again, love the sniping tool guide!!

hi went to curse to download tsm but i can only get 2.5 how do i get the one you have?

I have your profile but the pricings are out of date. Do I need to manually change them ALL? Also, felblight isn't showing?
@Xionik12349 жыл бұрын
+PunkyVoodoo New profile will no longer have fixed prices, everything references exactly what is happening with prices on your specific realm. Much more user friendly. Profile is complete, I just need to work on getting ready to upload to a format that won't over write peoples TSM settings. I'll also have a link for a simple copy paste version.

Can you explain how to use these groups. ive watched 2 videos so far and i have all these groups but i have no idea how to make them function
@Xionik12349 жыл бұрын
+Curtis Fulwood Are you talking about groups from my TSM profile? Or do you mean, you've made groups in TSM yourself and now you don't know how to make them work for you?

Can't find the "average buyout price" in the wowhead filter drop down and the video makes it look like it just appears for you.

I can't either. They must have gotten rid of it for some reason

Hi I'm new to TSM, been hearing about it a long time already, been using Auctioneer for some time but I see that TSM is the real thing if I want to make gold fast and easy and the automatic price updates are a GODSEND! I'm still watching videos to learn how to set it up, till now I had no luck but I'll keep on trying to be ready before legion starts. Just to make something clear, for example: if I make a group on my alchemist character, and I add on the list to transmute living steel and alchemical catalyst, with one click, mouse scroll or whatever, do I get both item crafted at the same time? It's kind of a stupid question but I still can't manage to make it work. Basically I want to set it up so I can easily make all professions CDs on each of my characters with one click once I log on each character, is that possible?
@Xionik12348 жыл бұрын
Not possible. You must click for each individual thing you want to do. you can tell TSM to remind you to craft your daily cd's. Go to /tsm, crafting, then cooldowns, then select what you want to be notified of when you open your profession window for the first time of the day. The magic of TSM is posting/cancelling thousands of auctions extremely fast and checking to see if you've been undercut on anything. It does not allow you to craft multiple things at the same time.

Grumpy, I believe it's still in BETA at the moment. More invites should be sent out though, soonish :) Keep your eyes peeled, I recommend downloading TSM from the site itself, not curse. Keeping an eye on the TSM site can be done here www.tradeskillmaster.com/

+Xionik1234 Great guides/stream. I was wondering if there is someway you can put up a profile for people who don't have TSM 3 beta access. I've been searching everywhere for an old profile download link and can't seem to find one.

I had groups set up and then enabled professions. Now can't get new items to show up for selling, though they are listed in the group. Note to self: never enable professions.

+Matt Trantham Haha, well I'm sure you know that a lot of the manipulations you can do to the economy in this game is illegal irl.

lol yeah that's just my weird way of complimenting you guys. I am enjoying the sniping function very much, but I'm still a little unsure about all the grouping functions and why I would need some of them. Can I PM you guys to get some more info on the uses past the tutorial vidoes, or is there a more in depth guide I can read over?

As this isn't actual gold-making and you already seem to be giving away some 'secrets' in formulas that, as an assembler, C, C++ (etc.) former professional softwre developer can sorta understand but would never be able to create on my own, and just barely understand, no so much the return values of the forumlas but I want TSM to be "smart enough" to know what price to sell the Runic Leather Headbands I created many of, to get my Leatherworking skill leveled up. I also want TSM to be smart enough to price items that I find/all players find, green gear and such. I don't want to have to look at the tooltip for every piece of gear my main sends to my alt (AH/bank), to figure out what to price each piece of basically random/looted gear at. The latter seems like the absolute most popular reason anyone would install TSM and try to figure out how to set it up. Can you do a video on that, please? I have 53 pieces of random "BoE" green gear in my inventory, as usual after a hard day of grinding to get nothing I really know about, because WoW is absolutely horrible at making players aware of much of anything. It would be nice to know what I need to farm in order to make the most gold from my current list of Leathermaking "recipes", and WoW should tell me where I need to go to farm whatever skins/hides and whatever else. But that's a whole other book. I have managed, after several days of googling around and looking at mostly worthless interfaces in WoW, to determine that I need to go to Mawpawshire to kill Bloodpawmaws, and I have no idea where Mawpawshire is, so I have to google around more to figure out how to get there from Shirepawmaw, where my main toon currently is. I get to Mawpawshire and I find Bloodpawmaws and I go comatose one-shotting them over and over and over and over... and over and over and over... and (etc.) and having to loot everything on them so that I can right-click skin them to get Bloodpawmaw Bloody Hide; a critical mat in making the coveted Bloody Hide set of gear. That's a whole other book that I still have no idea how to use TSM for. It's just that in the process of being comatose, farming Bloodpawmaw Bloody Hides for who knows how many comatose hours, that I ended up with 53 pieces of green gear in my bag, after manually looking at everything in my rather huge Bagnon inventory, to sell off all of the typical junk that WoW annoys everyone with, for no apparent reason (is annoying customers a new marketing tactic? Blizzard has it down pat, if so) and to sell off anything that TSM tells me, in its many fields that I still haven't found any documentation for, I just look at all of them and whichever one has the lowest price, typically "Regional Avg" (whatever it means; I'd need actual documentation to know what it all means, but there doesn't seem to be any actual documentation for TSM), anything < 50g and I vendor it off. But I still have 53 pieces of BoE green gear in my bag that TSM says, in one field or another, the lowest one I can find of whatever they all are, are worth 50g or more at the AH. Now. All I want to do is go to the AH, and click one button, to have TSM put all 53 pieces of green, blue, pink, purple, yellow, whatever gear is in my inventory that I got from farming Bloodpawmaw Bloody Hides, and post each one of those pieces of gear at a reasonable price, as in look at the lowest price anything is selling for on the AH already, look at whichever of the undocumented fields that mean who knows what (due to being undocumented), just pick the lowest one of all of them (not vendor or disenchant, but the AH-related prices), maybe drop 1g per whatever the lowest price is, because it is just gear I happened to end up with in my inventory while comatose, but and it does sell, always, when I drill holes in my skull to let out the pressure/steam of having to manually click: Browse on the AH tab, then Shift-click the first of 53 random items I've already decided not to vendor off because TSM says that they're worth 50g or better, in whichever of its obscure (undocuumented) fields of AH prices. Then I hit Enter or click Search to see that no one else is selling this glorious item I worked so hard to get (always around Wow) or that everyone is selling for the "Min Buyout" price, which is so ridiculously high for such crappy gear that they might as well have just vendored the gear and saved themselves from paying more in AH fees (another issue that TSM doesn't take into account, because it assumes that everyone is from another planet: AH fees can cost more to not be able to sell an item, for using the "wrong"/undocumented TSM field regarding AH prices, than vendoring the item would have earned the player). I just look for the lowest (TSM Auction DB) price, and drop that by 1g and round off the silver and copper to 0s, and then move on to piece of random looted gear 52, and repeat. By the time the sun comes up, and I have finally posted all 53 pieces of random looted gear on the AH again, and they always sell for some reason (though I may have to get them from the mailbox, expired, and re-do everything manually over again, I'll drop the price until it sells, and it'll never be below vendor price unless i've gone too comatose, well no one should have to be dealing with any of this, since the invention of calculators, let alone computers, it's ridiculous). How do we set up a "group" and operations with TSM to deal with this all-common issue (please and thank you)?
