Got a question for you Breg. I saw in someone elses video that if I run TSM + another AH addon, say Auctioneer, I should go into operations, and change all the settings that say dbmarket to Aucmarket for accurate listings. I've done that but still not sure if that is correct. I mainly use Auctioneer for scanning the AH as it only takes seconds to do so. Should I roll back to dbmarket in the TSM settings, or keep it as Aucmarket? Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Hey Breg, thanks for the videos, really useful both in BFA and Classic. I'm having an issue in Classic where whenever I post something that it's not under the minimum or above the maximum price, it posts it at normal price, which is above the lowest auction on the market. Likewise, when the price is above maxx or below min, it posts it at min, but never really undercuts it by the amount that I set, rather by a few silver, or even tens. I was wondering if there was any setting that would allow me to just undercut regardless of whether the item is currently above the max, under the min or at a normal price, because I've had numerous auctions that have expired due to this. I'm guessing there should be some fiddling work with the set minimum and maximum price options, but I haven't found strings that could help me out. P.S. I'm using your groups and operations. Cheers!

I had to change the operations for Crafting 2-5 stack from percentage of crafting to percentage of DBMarket to be able to sell potions for some reason, specifically Catseye Elixirs. Any idea why those values were invalid? And will there be a significant difference between %crafting and %DBMarket?

i have had my alchemy set up pretty much exactly the same way you do for about a month now. They problem is, you can actually lose money doing this if you're not careful with making potions. Unlike retail, some materials aren't as abundant on the auction house. so tsm might tell you that making 20 fire protection potions will make you 1 gold each, but realistically only a 5 of them are cheap to make, while the last 15 pots will break you even. It took me a while to figure this out

you just have to get the item id from wowhead (i:5512) - that was just an example, it will be i: then some numbers) - and add it into the group

I'm having an odd bug with TSM and i cannot figure it out. It says "did not post "item" because your minimum price(105% crafting) is invalid. Check your settings. I've scoured all through the settings looking for "105%" but i cannot find anything and it won't let me post any items.

Question, when you use the (TSM task list for gathering) and have to buy things off AH does it provides you items of the exact qty if it has enough on AH. or do you have to buy like in your example the briarthorn(40) and lets say the ah has 34 posts -1stack you would need to keep track of what you bought and go back later in day and find the other 6 to meet your 40 requirement to make the profit it calculated previously. Fadeleaf you need 20, and ah posted saying it has 32, 1 stack so you would only need 20 per the task list?

I was watching another older video where the poster was saying you need to use auctioneer in addition to TSM addon. But I don't see you using auctioneer here. He was also changing the value settings from the default settings. I don't see you doing that here either. I am trying to understand how this app works. It seems to be a tad confusing on how to use or set up. Anyway, I am assuming that you can use the TSM for classic without having to use auctioneer since your just using this app? So I imported your groups, but when I run shopping scans on them they are all way over 100%, even if minbuyout is way lower than market price. If I then manually scan for those items, it shows me the correct percentage. Any explanation?

Maybe change the shopping operation to make it: minbuyout 100%? It might be that already though... also make sure you have dbmarket as your percentage and not dbregionmarket?

@@BregVids yes, it also shows the latest price updates (date and time), but it seems the ingame addon cant get the data from the desktop app. and both versions are up to date, also checked it.

Thanks Breg for everything!, I have a question: I´ve just imported your Pastebin and I get all the Groups, Operations, etc... I have a Small Issue when posting auctions. I'm getting the #default as Auctioning Operation. Ive check in Groups->BoE Flipping->Groups Operations and override parent operation is clicked and set to BoE selling. So everything should work fine, but it doesnt, am I th only one? is it happening to you too? P.D Materials and Crafting seem to be working fine

Make sure you selected all the groups on the suctioning tab in your auction house - also make sure the subgroups have got the same operation. Otherwise I don’t really know!

I also have the 120%crafting invalid error. what i think the problem is that crafting database doesn't have the materials/recipe for that item/consumable, so it can't determine the 120% of it i didn't found the full solution yet but i think i'm on the right path: /tsm crafting -> in crafting tap, choose a crafting discipline, it will load the recipes you know, thus it can determine its materials -> in crafting reports tap ->> materials you will find the materials related to the known recipes and their prices it works for the recipes i know, but i didn't figure out how to load the crafting database with all the crafting recipes.

i think that the trade skill master to craft does not bug out, some vendors sell you limited quantities of those materials and well, you can try and get them with layers... i believe...

If I’m not mistaken TSM Classic requires manual scans of the AH to keep up to date.

Yes, although those manual scans are processed by the TSM servers and sent back via the app. If nobody does manual scans, there is no data to process, but you will most likely have some data provided by other people.

Why are there so many auctions with 1% or 2%? Sometimes tsm tells me that an item cost 100g and now it's for 1s. If I look at the other auctions everyone sells it for 1s. How is this possible? From where tsm gets the prices?

market value is average price, minbuyout is price when the desktop app last updated (usually 1-2 hours ago). Sometimes market value can be really high if people posted items for super high price even though they would never sell for that price! So always do your research because sometimes TSM can be wrong with prices... but usually its right!

Hi BregVids: TSM classic realms might not be showing for some of your subscribers, even though they have added the realm on the TSM website. I had tried Uninstalling and reinstalling App helper to no avail. I found the fix for that online. "I clicked the Addon Versions tab in the desktop app, and, lo and behold, at the bottom, there was a version called TSM_AppHelper-Classic. Under status, it told me in red text that it was not installed, and to double-click to install it. I double-clicked the red text, and immediately it said it was up to date. Restarted the app, and there was my realm!" Maybe you can show this on your Episdoe 9 or 10 video, or add it to your TSM for classic video.

Yeh, I guess its beacuse you don't have to pay for the addon itself, you just have an option to pay if you want additional features - All I know is Blizzard are ok with it!

It won’t have updated prices unless you get the desktop app (which you need a free account for). But that’s fair enough if you don’t like it then go for whatever you like best!

Why do people keep spamming auctions with overpriced buyout and 1 copper bids? It’s extremely annoying. Once I caught one of these geniuses off guard though and bought all of their copper bar and briarthorn auctions for bid price, which made me quite a bit of gold early on and was kinda funny. But still, 99% of the time they just spam the auction house with these ridiculous lots and cancel them just before they expire.
