My TSM minimum for BOEs is: max(vendorsell/0.95/.6/.75,destroy+.1*vendorsell) 0.95 accounts for 5% AH cut, 0.6 is for the 60% 24h deposit fee. You get the deposit back if your auction is successful, but if my profit isn't more than the risk of losing 60% of the item's vendor value, I'm going to vendor it. The 0.75 is because I set my bid price to 75% of buyout. Destroy + 0.1*vendorsell is so I don't post items that I could DE for significant profit. Deposit fees eat up profits fast so I lean on disenchanting (no deposit fees) and vendoring more.

Arlaeus....for the life of me I can't get the operation posting strings to work. Every time I enter your setup it auto corrects it or doesn't save at all. Been trying for 2 hours now and there are no typo's, even tried copy pasting from notepad. Please help!

I belive its wrong on the part on minimum posting ( shouldnt be max(min( ). It should be max(50% dbmarket, 50% dbregionmarketavg, 50% dbregionsaleavg, 1.5*vendorsell). Struggled with this but i belive this fixed it.

@@arlaeus9491 I do. It shows the market value, region average, min buyout and i can pull up historical values. Its just the sale average and sale rates that aren't coming up when I select them in the display settings

@@arlaeus9491 I noticed too that if I use the dbregionsaleavg function in a min() or max() function it won't take. For example, if i do min(0.9*dbmarket, dbregionsaleavg), it will always choose the dbmarket value. I tried isolating it by setting my normal price to dbregionsaleavg and the TSM auction house says this is an invalid operation when I try to sell with the function at normal price.

Top guide Arlaeus, TSM can be such a headache when you're not used to it given its complexity. I've followed your vid and got mine working how I'd like it (almost) perfectly. From time to time I see messages like this ... "Did not post [Rageclaw Gloves] because your normal price (min(75% dbmarket, 75% dbregionmarketavg, 97% dbregionsaleavg)) is lower than your minimum price (max(min(50% dbmarket, 50% dbregionmarketavg, 50% dbregionsaleavg), 1.5*vendorsell)). Check your settings. " My min/max/norm price strings are exactly as in your video, but for some reason, it posts some stuff but throws on others with the above error message. Have I missed something?

It’s an oddly priced item where the the normal price is below vendorsell or 75% embarked iss under 50% dbmarket. You can change it by changing 75% dbmarket to 75% dbregionmarketavg

Just looking at this addon makes my head want to explode ;-; Is there an easier way to protect items you don't want to sell? I added my reagents to a safekeeping list, but let's say I am leveling and want to protect my low level healing/mana pots for only a short while. Do I really need to dig through each list and remove/re-add them every time? D: Halp please...

nice video i never really got into TSM migggght do it again its such a hassle atm i use ATT-auctionator it doesnt really scan the correct pricings on stuff espesially on herbs cz the market fluxes alot. i also saw that troll-hide bag ;-; those are a big yikes :P gotten like 4 of those myself x_x

If it works for you definitely feel free to not use it! But if you are thinking about switching then I'd recommend it honestly. It's just about finding what works for you!

Hey Arlaeus, I am using these exact setting and I keep getting this error "TSM: Did not post [Netherweave Cloth] because your maximum price max(200% dbmarket, 200% dbregionmarketavg, 300% dbregionsaleavg) is invalid. Check your settings." Any idea why its doing this? Its been broken since TBC launch.

anyone got a bug where running a post scan ignores some items that are clearly in the group for BoE > Uncommon? Simply removing and re-adding the same items lets it be picked up by a post scan again. Really weird.

I think you might be incorrect about something. I think that the item variation is, for example, "Elegant Mantle of the Eagle" a boe green item called with 13 stamina and 12 intellect on this specific item. Because, the next time you loot the same item "Elegant Mantle of the Eagle", it could very well have different stats. Like 12 stamina/13 intellect instead of the opposite. I like your vids, it's just that you seem to be assuming stuff sometimes, and that will confuse people when you weren't correct.

Hi Jamie! Yes it's in the start of my video when it starts going fast! You have to make a macro and keybind it to scroll up and down (i use ctrl+scroll up and down)

I tried to find your discord I'll have to keep looking I guess. But it's basically in dire maul east. You jump down as soon as you enter. Like jump runs I guess. But this run can only be done with 2-3 mages. Because of there insane life pools. But I found a glitch bye one of the broken pillars to the right side down below that when you aggro mobs you walk behind the pillar and they just stop moving they can't hit you at all. So what I immediately did is tried to one pull the room 😂 and fail to much dps. Need limited invulnerability pots etc. But after a few attempts we nailed man. So what happens. Is you pull the dungeon then go to that spot ice block. Come out pop limited invulnerability potion ,Nova and walk back a couple steps. Then you can start aoe by this pillar. It is just like one pull Cath how they walk back and forth across the pillar as you jump up and down on it. But in this glitch you just move to either side of it. At least 50-100g per run. Had a 479g run between 3 mages one time . I'll make a video and send it to you of my game play man.
