Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's got access to their entire server side infrastructure. He's probably using the system intended for pushing live patches to get whatever he wants onto a specific player's system and depending on how the client handles those things it could be a huge security issue outside of just the game. The fact that he can gift things, which is handled by different machines than the game play servers, means that he probably has similar levels of access to all APEX accounts.

@@hurri9633 Yes, the server side access is 100% guaranteed. It's possible he could ban and unban people as well, or maybe even take over accounts. But the question that is bothering me the most is if he can remotely push stuff to specific clients or if Hal's and Gen's computers were compromised in some way that is unrelated to the game. If he actually is capable of pushing stuff directly to clients it means that all players are at risk of malware infection through the same method.

The only way to prove innocence would've been to have Apex/EA do full investigation and prove someone had unauthorized access to their PCs or Apex Accounts. Would've taken much longer and would sabotage DZ and TSM ALGS for a year, reck the chemistry, and momentum.

How is it too early? The EXACT same cheat used, enabled on two pro players clients? No, there's no different hacking nature. The second one was to prove it wasn't a fluke, and they could hit more than just one person. Plus, gen could no longer play. So that's when Hal was the next target. There's no need for "different investigation" if you have enough braincells to know they're both the exact same instances. ONLY difference, is no client was brought up on Hals and no text in chat on Hals. Every other aspect is the EXACT same.

Sweet is absolutely delusional in that this will make Apex bigger. The difference between this publicity vs other forms, is that it is based on cheating. Nobody wants to do something if other people doing the same thing are cheating at it, whether it's sports, gaming, card playing or any other competitive activity. Edit- the Optic player is like they should keep game one and two because... and proceeds to just talk about how he infected gen and hal. The only fair thing to do would be to reset the entire match day period. Anything else is biased in favor of a specific team.
