"companies lost the arms race to TSMC." Making it absurdly clear he understands nothing about the chip business. TSMC does not compete with any chip company. They MAKE the chips for EVERY serious chip company including Intel. I mean, dudes, come on. AI PCs.... If you're paying any attention, you've noticed that Nvidia is entering that market (their Digits box is the first step). AMD is going to experience competition before they even get started with their AI PC chips. The trend is clear: arm-based CPUs are the future of PCs, and AMD and Intel are placing all bets on x86. That business will not go to zero immediately, but the future is clear. AMD had better get a clue pretty quickly, and I'm certain they can but I'm not certain they will.

Not to scare anyone and I am not a conspiracy guy but Patric Bet-David released a very concerning podcast titled on YT - Episode 529. I won't go into detail here but if you skip to 8:30 and 12 you will see what I mean. This was also highlighted by the US National Security Advisors words / warning about “unexpected events”. I am wondering if these events could spring a long overdue correction. I took precautions JIC. Have a listen and make your own judgement. ✌️
