Recently changed to Linear from ALC and it was worth it. Classic hinders your movements and practically controls your aiming 100%. ALC is inconsistent at times and require a lot of microadjusments but No deadzone linear feels free and still allows u to feel the aim assist but not fully controlled by it.

Is there a certain way I should place my fingers? Would appreciate if you could help. Also i can’t reach the Crouch button alot of times

I basically went into ALC and made a 4.3 linear, except with a slightly increased yaw and tiny bit of deadzone to adjust for stick drift. It works fantastically well. The key is to remove the acceleration so turning is always consistent. It's why Hal prefers Linear over Classic.

What did you change yours to in ALC? I use 5 Deadzone, 2 OT, 4 RC, 130/100 ADS yaw/pitch Currently using extra yaw at 250 with my normal yaw/pitch at 225 each to make for quicker turns when needed but maintains slow on target when facing them. But debating whether I go back to no acceleration given its does have its pros/cons

If you are going to move to controller I highly recommend looking at getting a controller with hall effect joysticks, this will help a lot with drift, they can still get drift but compared to a regular joystick it is night and day. I recently picked up a Gamesir T4 Kaleid and I highly recommend it, I have my deadzone in Apex set to zero and get no drift whatsoever.

The reason the speed Ramps up in classic is it has turning ramp up time turned up high. If you want play classic without it. Go alc leave response curve 10 and turn off extra yaw ramp up time. I personally play alcs which is a fine tuned 4-3 linear. For Anybody who plays linear these are god mode settings I promise. Deadzone 3 Outer threshold 1 Response curve 1 Yaw 220 Pitch 180 Extra yaw 220 Extra pitch 120 Turning ramp up 16 Turn delay 0 Ads yaw 125 Ads pitch 105 Ads extra yaw 120 Ads extra pitch 80 Ads turn ramp up 5 Ads turn delay 0 I set them up like this because the pitch in default setting is so slow. Do let me know if anyone tries these and likes them.

Can also replicate Linear on ALCs 0dead,1thrshhold,0resopnse 300yaw 250pitch, ADS 130yaw 130pitch, everything else is 0, I currently use Extra yaw and pitch but mostly just from feeling on the adjustments, Pitch is up and down Yaw is left right (NOT ADVISE FOR THE KING IMP just general knowledge share from years of trying different ALCs for comment section

@@Decki777 try adding kontrolfreeks onto the g7 se to heighten the joysticks the more higher up you make the joystick the more accuracy based on more control of the radial area, I use a 9.9cm classic but they are discontinued I would recommend kontrolfreek's FPS Freek Inferno set which is 9.9cm the same as classic but with a texture, make sure the sticks are the same size as a ps5 controllers though first, and mess with gamesirs software they might have deadzones you need to adjust on the controller, you want to have outer deadzone maxxed out and inner deadzone pretty much off and it set to a curve you like you can make those controllers feel like ps5 controllers just takes time and good software I don't know about gamesirs though.

My alc controls are ALL artificial aim/camera acceleration is OFF. Deadzone at 7 (bad drift i wish it was at 0), look pitch & yaw at 455. Sight/zoom ads has been fine tuned to my liking. Response curve 1…0 is a little too linear. 1 is perfect for me

alcs are more used by movement players because on alcs you can pretty much do anything to your sens and aiming. Its crazy what alcs can offer but it definitely isn't for everyone. But I agree when I don't use alcs I definitely play 4 3 linear. Hal knows best 💪
