Product of overtime and playoff format racing. He may get fined but his win will remain. The only thing consistent about nascar ruling is inconsistency. Had it ended under a yellow like back in the day with 2 laps left it would be his win. Maybe it should go back to the Winston points format but with bonus points for laps led and wins. And additional bonus points for doing so in the last 10 races. Just no cutoff style elimination like now

I can't stand Hamlin either but it's pretty clear that Austin wrecked him on purpose after being told to do so by the spotter not that I was disappointed that he did it. Hamlin and Logano both are dirty drivers as well and in most peoples eyes they got what they deserved and I think they did too. Austin Dillon got what he deserved as well. He had ever intent to wreck anyone to win. In the interview he said that he regretted wrecking Logano and also went on to say he do anything to win. He is just as bad as they are. My biggest problem with NASCAR is them being fair to all no matter who you are.

@@jayp3564 TSN sports , channel from a month ago titled Dillon dumps logano and hamlin . Says dump and run in red letters. It's post race interviews . At 3:30 at .25 speed zoom in you see video from the straight away looking straight at hamlin and Dillon. It shows Dillon and shows hamlin come up off the corner and move up and then slides into Dillon. NO hooking of Dillon no intentional wrecking of hamlin. Also on Motorsports on NBC post race interviews video . From a moth ago. At 2:50 while they are interviewing hamlin they show the same video. Dillon turning below logano then turns left a little off the corner then towards the straight stretch towards the finishline. Then Shows hamlin moving up while dillon stays on that white line and then you see hamlin move up of the bottom stripe then his car break loose and starts to slide into dillons car. From like a foot and a half the back of hamlins car slides into Dillon. And in video of hamlins incar Hamlins spotter was yelling outside outside outside.. so if you're gonna say dillons spotter yelling wreck him is proof that dillon even acknowledged what his spotter said and "obeyed" him, then you can say hamlin knew Dillon was on his outside, and intentionally was trying to wreck dillon and run him into the wall. I think anyone who just blindly believes what nascar and hamlin said that just because a spotter yells something is proof that a driver just obeys and does something, is stupid. Hamlin knows he wrecked himself. You can tell in his immediate interviews . It seems like he just decided the next day, that if nascar is going to claim dillon Intentionally hooked and wrecked me,, then I'll just keep saying it too..

@@LynnWhite-h7tThere’s a big difference between when Lagono and Hamlin do it. The difference is they go into the corner slow enough to make the turn and are on a guys bumper pushing him and the other guy can’t handle the speed through the corner like they can. Austin went into the corner too fast to make the corner unless he wrecks the car in front of him and uses that car to slow him down. Dale Sr mastered this bump and run tactic. He didn’t necessarily wreck the car in front of him he just pushed faster than the driver could go through the corner but not faster than he could. Generally this is due to a better car setup or newer tires. With Dale it was just a driver with more talent with speed through a corner. Very different than just hitting a guy while going straightaway speed while he’s slowing to make a corner.

Joey slowed down in the turn and Hamlin went up the track to soon. Watch it in slow motion.

Not so fun when you take it like you give it is it Logano ? What goes around comes around 😂

What a joke .. no one can wonder why NASCAR and teams are in financial trouble and F1 (with rules and stewards) is growing .. if this stands as a win the sport is toast

Looks like a clown show After F1 cheats Lewis out of 8th title I can’t take racing seriously anymore

Denny and Joey have done it many times but I can’t stand Austin Dillon, since his very first day in Nascar.
@SG-oi8rl2 ай бұрын
Just because you don't "like" him means nothing. Denny Hamlin is one of the most hated in NASCAR along with his entire organization including Tyler Reddick, for a reason.

That was some of the best damn driving I have ever seen. Everyone knew it was going to happen, even the announcers called it. Then nascar gets vaginitis and loses more fans ....
