54 v 22 for the shots? Most of the play in your end? He did pretty well, overall. Like years ago when Ukraine had the best goalie in the tournament. He gave up (iirc) 6+ goals a game, but often faced 60 shots. He made great saves all game long, but was all alone out there.

That offside review shouldn’t have happened. There was no way that players leaving the ice are in any way going to influence the play. The right call was made no matter if the skate was touching the ice or not.

They absolutely do influence the play. They would never have made it back to the line in time had their bench been on the other side and the attacker would have had to hold up on entering the zone.

Offside. The puck has to cross the blue line before any attacking player. It gets messy when the players were changing and also when the attacking player actually touches the puck.

What’s up with the repeated goal songs 😂, I think Germany’s hockey program has decreased as I don’t see any drafted players from Germany anymore. The goalie needs to stay on his feet more and stop diving or laying flat on his stomach. Team USA perfect offense as usual but the defense needs to work on the turnovers other than that great work.
