Not even Dokkan Battle, a game where you have all characters in all tranformations possible have a single unit called SJJ Rage Trunks, so i dont even consider a Tranformation let alone a '' unique '' one , to me is just SSJ Trunks charging a Genki Dama.

I'm gonna be honest. I liked the idea of mystic gohan best. Not what actually happened. I do understand it's basically headcanon, so people don't have to agree. But I think the idea of mystic wasn't that he had his potential unlocked like with Guru (the strongest he could he at that age, without the rage boost). The mystic thing seemed like it was supposed to be his max rage boost available at all times. Effectively meaning he wouldn't get a rage boost in that form since he'd already be using it. Because of that, I feel if other characters did the elder kai's ritual, I'd feel it wouldn't be nearly as good since they don't have untapped power like Gohan had. It would just be a small boost, like Guru's. They should only get as strong as they could be if they trained as efficiently as possible at that age, and since Goku trained so well anyway, it wouldn't be that much. What actually happened was that mystic basically became another form, and it was like Guru's potential being unlocked again.

Alright Sage…time to explain SSJ Rage FOR REAL. At least, to the best of my ability. Cuz let’s be honest, there isn’t a “true” explanation that makes any actual sense, but what I’m going to say is the truth, it’s just not a whole explanation…exactly. If you’re even reading this comment, and you go rewatch the scene where he transforms into it, or any scene where he transforms into it and it takes any amount of time, watch closely. Because, my friend, he gets swole. As swole as a SSJ grade 3…but then he shrinks down. Into SSJ Rage. That’s literally it. But that tells us one thing for sure; it’s derived from SSJ grade 3 in some way. That’s the part I don’t know and won’t even attempt to answer cuz I can’t. What exactly caused this bridge to be built in the first place between Rage and grade 3 is what I don’t know, but I do know that it’s there. And my best guess is simply that the anger and the “mastery” (if you can call it that) of grade 3 mixed into Rage. And the only reason I’m somewhat convinced of this even more than just the show itself, in Dokkan, the form SSJ Rage is just called Super Saiyan. There’s nothing else to the name. It’s just Super Saiyan, like any other normal SSJ 1 is called. I know that’s a flimsy piece of evidence, but I didn’t say I’d convince anyone of anything, just explain to the best of my ability. And it at least tells us it isn’t part of a different level of Super Saiyan, which lends itself somewhat to everything I’ve said. Now look, I’m not gonna sit here and act like I’m trying to defend this form. Especially for no reason. I think it’s just such a subtle detail that most people didn’t notice it, especially on the first watch. Because I didn’t either. I literally rewatched DBS (except the first 2 arcs) and that’s when I noticed it. But it’s never discussed in the show AT ALL. I’m not trying to say it actually makes sense or anything like that, I wouldn’t even say I’m defending it honestly. I’m just trying to tell as many people as I can about this detail that it seems literally everyone missed and because no one in the show talked about it no one ever noticed it irl either. But I guess my yapping session is over now. Basically just wanted to make it known that the reason SSJ Rage is the way it is, is because of grade 3 somehow. Not really a great explanation, but it’s better than the nothing most people assume at least. Including you. Especially you, actually. And honestly, if you even see this, probably STILL you even after my spiel. But idc if you like the form or not honestly, just at least know everything about what little they give us to go off of. In my opinion, Super Saiyan Rage exists because Trunks got mad and they wanted it to look unique to him, instead of using something like SSJ3. But they purposely messed up the powerscaling of the form to make the form seem like it has more “significance” in the situation they were in. And they also, for no reason, made the design abnormally inconsistent. Also, the stuff it does makes no sense. Spirit Bomb Sword sounds cool, but how? For Trunks of all people? It’s a form of *rage* with too many mistakes, in other words.

Blue evolution is a good form for me, not appearance but narratively The way vegeta wants to grow was originally to go in goku's footsteps in training (Aka Training in the gravity chamber to achieve super sayain, attempting to tap into ultra instinct when fighting the power ranger dude, but failing), but then overtime during the T.O.P, he realized that HIS path to power, is to do things his own way, eventually unlocking blue evolution. The reason why this form is so good, is that it foreshadows Ultra Ego, and gives him a buff that equalizes him to SSBKK Goku, and the form itself represents a sign of his GOD path, just like Ultra instinct omen, foreshadows his angelic path, the perfect dynamic between the two.

Can we just like ignore super for these dbz transformations, because i can see why u don’t care for mystic gohan in dbs, but in dbz that was literal peak and so necessary for gohan, it’s almost the fact the transformation looks like so little that it gives so much. It made me never wanna see him in ssj1 or ssj2 again

Nah, Ultimate Gohan is one of the worst transformations in the series Imo, it's lazy, boring and undeserved, even his design is lazy. even in Z. Especially the way it's obtained.

get MID ui sign out of GOAT and put SS2 in GOAT and SS4 in GOAT. (ss3 in peak fiction) UI only broke the internet because of what SS, SS2, SS3, and SS4 did before it
