I just adjusted my chain on ‘21 MT 07. Don’t get the convenience of this expensive product, but maybe I’m ignorant. Chain slack specs should be included at least. Distance between the bottom of chain guard and center of chain should be between 2.01 - 2.20 inches

Only thing I can really see is the spool, as you aren’t lifting by the axle like most spools. But their claim of “these won’t fall off like the stock ones” seems ridiculous. There’s a lock nut on it, so how is that going to back off and “fall off”? Doesn’t make sense to me either

Yes sir. Bart already finished the conceptual design. The manufacturing detailing had begun on the design. Then comes electronics design, and tooling design. The work is progressing

@@CartoonWeasel and it’s main purpose is that it’s captive, meaning it won’t fall out like the OEM units when you remove your axle nut and axle rod.

@@CartoonWeasel we’ve seen cases where the OEM backplates fall off or get damaged too. Our captive system is simply a more robust solution will providing additional uses. If it’s not for you, that’s okay, but it’s a hugely popular kit that serves multiple functions while wrapped in a nice form.

@@CartoonWeasel this is a note from engineering to provide a more detailed answer to your question. We use this bike in endurance racing. Many others use it in sprint races and track days. This mode of usage requires easier wheel changes. The OE setup all falls apart when changing the wheel. We currently have a pit stop time of about 35 seconds to fuel, change riders, and change rear wheel. If we were using the oe setup our pitstop time would never be consistent and above 2 minutes. Some guys just want the convenience of not having all the oe components puke out when the axle is removed. Some just like the look and convenience of the new adjustment method. Some customers prefer the GP lifter to the spool so that is one additional flexibility to the kit. We have sold many of these kits over time so that must mean the the flexibility in this system appeals to customers with various needs. It ultimately is up to you to determine if what this kit enables for you is worth what you pay for it . I hope this gave you extra depth of understanding what this setup does . Bart

At the :50 second mark we explain we're going to show the installation process on the previous generation as the install is exactly the same. Then at 12:17 we show the product installed on a 2021+ model for the outro and after shots. No, we're not scamming anyone, we're just efficient at filming and posting videos.
