What I like about Tsukimichi is although it lacks great animation, it places a fair amount of effort into its writing. In short, everyone has an understandable reason for doing what they do. It's not just a trope parade. So, it feels lived in and the efforts of Makoto have weight because of the that. Overall, it was good and I'm looking forward to Season 2.

Few Corrections, 1:43 That Ability covers all, except Hyuman language. This is important as it forces Makoto to use speech bubbles to talk to anyone who speaks Hyuman language (which he manually learns). 3:05 Makoto "accidentally" destroys the location as he was just try to practical his Archer Magic. And the Oni's you mention there were actually Demons. 15:50 Lancer/Mitsurugi isn't a Human, he is a Greater Dragon like Shen, but his rank is low compared to her. And you didn't mention about Tomoe creating a new fragment (using Makoto's rejected rings as core), whom Makoto named as Komoe.

I pulled a rewatch on it not to long ago. What I did like and have hope for in the next season is that it went from a somewhat goofy isekai to something kind of dark toward the end. Gives he hope for the character depth in the new season

That last fight from season 1 was just incredible! S1 came out before I got back into anime and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Thank you for putting this recap together! I'm still probably going to do a rewatch anyways in anticipation! This and Banished from the Hero's Party s2 are the shows I'm most looking forward too! That said, that preview of Banished looks a bit haremy, which I really, really hope not. It just needs to be Rit and Red!

FINALLY, I was waiting for the second season after they first announced it. Though first season is a bit of a letdown for me since the other things that make Tsukimichi interesting is the other people perspective other than the main cast, it makes you realize how crazy the situation was or is going on with the addition of Makoto and his servants (Mio, Tomoe, and no wShiki) and also how messed up Makoto's view on things with all the power he has in the world he currently living. That's about it, so I hope season 2 moving forward able to capture this
