Ahhh thank you for reacting to my collection! Yes, I am forever on the hunt for Yowapeda volume three,,, :") I loved watching the anime for Kamisama Kiss years ago so I was really excited when I saw some early volumes of the manga come in stock! And yes!!! Bride of the Water God! I really love this series! It's out of print and unfortunately the English translations stopped at volume seventeen, so it's also unfinished in English, unfortunately. I only need two more volumes until I have all the English volumes though. But the art is so gorgeous, and more than anything I have the most fun anylysing and thinking about the symbolism and character interactions in this series. When I first read through, I wasn't impressed by the romance or plot - but then I gradually, slowly got more and more immersed until I realized that I'd even started liking the things I'd disliked before. It's a very special and nostalgic series for me. And I don't know if other people would ever get the same enjoymebt out of it, but I would recommend them to give it a try if they enjoy historical settings, light politics, a lot of symbolism, or more slow burn romances. If at first I was disinterested in the main romance, by the end I really ended up liking it, anticipating it, and wanting the two leads to be happy. It's always a lot of fun to see other people's collections! Thank you for another great video!! :)

Random but while I was in Vietnam a few weeks ago I picked up a lot of Vietnamese manga and they give out gifts inside with most of them. Picked up every volume of Blue Flag in Vietnamese and each one comes with a unique colourful plastic film reel bookmark with different scenes from the manga.

Hiii!! I'm so happy I showed up in this video!! I'm Ary, and yes you guessed right I'm Italian :D The Our not so lonely planet guide is not actually hard cover, it has a slip cover(?) I think it is.. But they are really cute editions! All my manga all Italian tho, but some of them look similiar too the english ones like demon slayer. If you are curious about something else I will gladly respond. ​@@tsukkinotesIt's really good! ღ’ᴗ’ღ but it's fairly new so we only have the first half in English. I'd say the vibes are similar to Bloom Into You, but the story is distinct. While it's a high school yuri, the story/characters have lots of depth. The art is understated but stunning when it serves the story, like when illustrating the MC's anxiety. Fair warning though, each volume so far has ended on a cliff-hanger ⚆_⚆ so it might be better to wait to read it till the series is complete (if that bothers you). It's definitely worth a read though, especially if you like grumpy/sunshine or height differences (*´ ˘ `*) (Unlike Bloom Into You, this time it's the short one who's peppy and popular and pursuing the tall, shy, neurodivergent MC).

Yay! Thank you for reviewing my Tezuka collection! Yes, the Chrollo and Pitou plushes are an interesting choice xD I like both of them, but I just got them cause they were available. Leorio and Kurapika are my favorites from HxH. Gunsmith Cats is a manga by Kenichi Sonoda about a girl named Rally Vincent and her friend Minnie who fight crime. It’s pretty raunchy and gritty but I’m a huge fan of the style. The volumes are super out of print though. There’s also OVAs that go along with it, they’re very good! And Pinoko is a Tezuka character! She’s the adopted daughter of Black Jack from the manga of the same name. It’s one of Tezuka’s most popular works and some of his best. Thanks for taking a look at my collection!!! ❤️

@@tsukkinotes Right. Some Black Jack volumes are super out of print, and some you can buy on Rightstuf. Hopefully it gets reprinted soon. If anything you should pick up the first volume and give it a try, since the story doesn’t have a strong consistent plot and is mostly episodic.

I have 10 volumes of the hard cover Vinland saga so either way I wouldn't switch to the deluxe versions but I also don't really like how they look. I think the hard covers look much nicer, so I'm happy with them.

If you want to check out the Danmei then I think you should watch the donghua of Heaven Official Blessing or The grandmaster of demonic cultivation first to get use to the character and the setting. And then read the book :)

just got to watch this video~, lots of lovely mangas. regarding certain danmei, seven seas did well with majority of the translation. a friend of mine who is not familiar with the chinese fantastical element and never read any danmei before felt it was confusing at first but did enjoy it overall. just had to take it all in slowly to really absorb the information. it's not for everyone because most of the ones published so far are pretty heavy w/ trigger warnings. i would suggest if you want to try one out, you could start with heaven official's blessing by mxtx. sorry for the paragraph. >.< hope you're doing well!

I'm glad you liked my small collection. I actually recently got the 2nd volume of The Apothecary Diaries and The Masterful Cat is Depressed Again Today since I had to go to my local bookstore because I have to do a book review thing for my English class and it had to be a chapter book and 100+ pages and couldn't have already been read, since I couldn't find anything in my school library I just went there to find a book that matched the requirements and interested me and while I was there I got those books as well.

Thanks for sharing mine!! Sad I could only share my shoujo and romance the rest being packed up saddens me but I have moved so hopefully soon I can unpack those! So happy and grateful, golly I just love looking at collections its so fun to see all the weird and quirky series people collect, Mars was such a pain to get especially when i got stuck with some nasty-looking ones I eventually replaced, also yes that semantic error photo book is so nice, easily my favorite BL drama that came out this year Jaechan is my king! just got into k pop recently and DKZ was the first group I started with they are my favorite!! Thanks for taking a look at mine hah. Oops looking back I should have placed some series in better positions since some of them only have Mandarin names so you couldnt tell what they were lol. And because the place I rent doesnt have a bookshelf I just had to place some of em sideways lmao. Oh well Idk what it is about the west either :/ Kinda sucks that you won't be able to read Mandarin volumes since you love the sports genre. Theres not only Daiya but also Baby Steps, Yowapedal, Hajime no ippo and many other sports series that have physical Mandarin print as well. Tbh Taiwan just has much more and much better manga publishers imo. Taiwan is also sorta a paradise for manga too so theres more options available Soo the Blue Period art cards came from volume 10. It was a special edition volume that I actually found by accident in a manga store when I flew back to Taiwan this summer. I'm thinking probably because vol 10 is newly printed? I'm glad I bought it haha since now that I'm back in Canada I won't be buying anything animanga related😅 I appreciate you spending all your time to edit these vids just to talk about our collections❤Also for me the audio is great, I can hear your soothing voice just fine XD
