The power gage is for traction motors, not the engine.

Strictly speaking, it's the amount of electricity being generated by the generator connected to the diesel that is being supplied to the traction motors but I was trying to keep it simple.

what do I need to buy to play this game? Play station 4 or 5? world sim 4 or 5? I would really like to run this train. Thanks

@@plectrum316 it runs on PS4 but I would encourage PS5 as not all new releases come out on PS4 anymore or if they do they're limited. Train Sim World 5 starter pack is actually free currently so you can grab that and add whatever route DLC you want.

I always get a message that the security systems must be active to get the highest number of points (platinum). Unfortunately, I can't find anywhere how to activate it. In the manual at US it says only that you have to activate the alarm. But where!? 😔

The cheats way of doing it is shift enter then ctrl enter - the better way to do it is how I do it in this video where I turn on Alerter and TMS (and maybe PTC I cannot remember if this one has PTC) - watch the video and you'll see me do it.

My train just rolls down the hill, turning the throttle to max does nothing...is this game bugged

More likely you don't know how to drive it, have you watched my tutorial on the train you're trying to drive?

Which scenario or service were you in? Remember loco first or cab car first the setup is different. There is also at least one service where you're in the cab car and the diesel is cold and dark so you have to start it up. If you don't you will just roll.
