outdrives have too much play. noticed this on my own stock tt01 as well before i replaced them. real smooth now.

Hey bro I had this problem when I modified my steering to increase to 45 deg. You need a front one way or solid spool up front to stop the chatter. I think it chatters because the differential allows some movement. If you notice most ppl with large steering angles have a front one way

Maybe a smaller diff output cup with the 3 racing universal shafts, have you also tried one of the little clear donut washers in the diff output cup to buffer the universal shaft? When turning that far it sometimes creates a space between the back of the diff output and the dogbone on the uni shaft

It is the differential. I can even see the wobble at the lower speed. The more angle the more the axle will want to wobble. Hence why different high angle axles did not work. The planetary diffs were not designed for high angles. The wheels add weight so it will wobble even more. Im not pulling your leg. Remember the diff allows the wheels to spin at different velocities so this along with the sloppy design cant prevent the chatter. Well try it if all else fails. But It is a common problem.

The only thing I did was install the one way diff and the chattering stopped. I think it stopped because the one way is built just like a solid spool ( solid spool should stop it also). So it could be the built quality. I noticed my diff and out put cups did not form a straight line (axis of rotation) and that is what caused the wobble. No I have not seen any with large cups like yours. The one way is fun to drift, better than locked diff.

Cool, i was asking cus i still have some. My g2 gear are going real bad, and you was asking if we have any we want to see converted. I want to do mine with losi esc speed control but i think i might just change everything. Chassis and all.

I really don't see how the servo could cause the suspension to jump and chatter. I have ruled it out nevertheless. I have found that it does not chatter if the wheels are removed. Tried another set of wheels and it does the same. Really Confused on this one.

Ps you need a fow thats is constructed like a solid spool diff. Not the ones the replace the internal diff gear ( planetary gears)

Sucks that the glue didn't work. So then it could be a balance issue. What about make you own out put Shafts, AND or pushing the dog bones out or something to make it more stable. Good luck this one is tough. Did you ever mess with xmods?
@TheLEDwheel11 жыл бұрын
What you guys don't seem to get is it is ok without the wheels on so its not the diff.
@TheLEDwheel11 жыл бұрын
But did it stop because its a one way diff or because its better built with very little play?
@naturemacro11 жыл бұрын
i would try another servo as well.

Are they available with the large output cups?

change the steering joint to a stiffer one to hold it tight

Mine was locked also. After I installed my fow the chatter stopped.

XMods, yes. DO not care for them. Anything under 1/10 seems to be to light for it to have any stability and proper suspension functionality.But thats just me.

its because the gears are casted metal i just need to buy some new ones
