Loved that interview, and you asked some insightful questions 10/10! It seemed like you two has a great rapport with each other making it more like a chat between mates than an interview. Davey must be one tough dude, seemingly fearless, and extremely confident in his abilities, and I hope he does well. He seemed incredibly chuffed with the game which is one hell of an endorsement - I'm already sold on it, but if I weren't that interview would have done the trick.

thanks Alan , great interview. top marks to Davey I just don't know how they do it, one mistake and it really is all over

Well, they ride with quite some margin. There have only been very few road racers that could do it well on circuits (Carl Fogarty and Josh Brookes). Road racers don't brake very late or very hard, they don't lean too much... It's like the difference between rallying and the Dakar Rally.

This has me so hyped to play, can’t wait! Davey clearly loves TT more than anything, the way he lit up with excitement after 5:45 shows that! It’s validating to hear riders actually use the game to train to some extent, I had always guessed it but wasn’t so sure. I’ve watched plenty of onboard cam vids before ever even playing the game and loved to watch them and you get familiar with some spots. But it wasn’t until I started playing the game that I started to truly appreciate how much training is required to memorize all of the turns, reference points for gear changes, braking, leaning etc. Now when I watch the onboard cam videos I have more appreciation too because it all matches up perfectly, and have a better sense of when a rider is being cautious or really putting it all on the line. It’s pretty wild seeing them changing gears at the same rate I do in the game and just goes to show how much effort was put into making the game spot on. The first game pretty quickly became one of my favorite games of all time. Looking forward to #2!

This was some great watch, Alan. Thanks for posting it! All the best to Davey at the IoM TT nad I'm sure he will do well. My only wish would be to not lose his head and stay alive - we've lost far too many riders over the years and it is all not worth it if it costs you your life.

I’m almost convinced it’s a day one purchase. I love the first game, but found the handling, err, challenging. The Milestone boys give the bikes a sense that they are glued to the surface, which is reassuring and slightly unrealistic. Fingers crossed that Isle Of Man TT Ride On The Edge 2 is somewhere in between. Thanks for the video and thanks to Davey for giving me hope in this exciting new version. Cheers 🍻

There used to be ONE track faster than the Isle of Man TT for bikes: the road version of Spa, the 14km one.

Does Davey Todd prefer to use the bikecam view as shown here? Or does he prefer the first person or 3e person?

Another great video. But a few questions Alan - have you played it yet, and if so how does it feel physics wise? I loved the feeling of motogp 19.

On a Controller tho. It does work but on a Steering wheel accuracy is so much better. I feel i can Stand up with the Controller tho and get a goood feeling of the bike.

Oh no.. one thing i hate is tyre trails.. hopefully it's not in the full game as seen here. It's a massive put off. Or at least have the option to turn it off. But honestly can't wait for this. If anyone on xbox one wants to race then add me and let's hit this mountain! My gamertag is my user name. See you at the start line brothers

Thank you for that video, I cant wait for next one. So... Does the game simulate tyre wear and bike weight? Like if you have less fuel the bike is lighter? What happens if tyre loose grip? Will the bike highside/lowside or like in TT1 the bike goes straight in high lean if you lock the front?

0:28 to 0:35 seconds in and several times briefly afterwards, can you play in that view??

probably not. that looks like a replay view only.

@@bleedingfly I'v tried to get used to it in the MotoGP and Ride games but my brain can't deal with it! I'm hoping there's some sort of "cockpit" cam like the first game's helmet cam. I'll be getting this game regardless, love it.

I cannot play in thrid person veiw i just have to be on the bike or the feel is ruined for me. You can do fast times on the bike itself i was in the top 100 on the first game for quite a while. on the 600s.

Team VVV sorry you’ve tried this second game surely you know wether it is an improvement from the first game or not saying “hopefully” doesn’t really fill me with confidence that they have improved it

Looks good but the rider still looks twitchy going one side of bike to the other when cornering its not flowing like on ride 3 and moto gp game

I have to disagree from a viewing point. I can't really judge anything until you get hands on.

I have a feeling that replay camera is stabilised, thats why you dont see/feel the bumps.

That sound is sooo bad ... beside that it look great, they really listend and tryed to improve the game you can see that . i loved the first one in my opinion the best bike game out there, but this one will be even better . i hope they will develop more bike games... after two games their game has more improvments than these lazy milestone guys games had in 7 years .
