i just got this game on PC a couple days ago... I've never even heard of the isle of man until i caught some random documentary on utube the other night called, 'Closer to the Edge' and now I'm an obsessed TT fan!... and being a gamer, naturally i looked for the game and low and behold there it was! Ride on the Edge 2! completed my first 4 laps of the TT lastnight and I'll tell you i was BEAT! lol... can't imagine the strength, both physical and mental it takes to do this in real life. for all its flaws, this game really nails the rush of the TT! i love the career mode too. could it be a little deeper? sure, but is it fun? hell ya!!!

The Foam around the lamp posts help a ton! If the foam was not there and if you crashed at that speed in to it you would be cut in half. The flesh would just tear and the bones would break. Have you seen videos of what happens online? A lamp post literally cuts the guy in half. By having the foam it reduces that chance by around 50-60%, this way if the driver hits it he only gets broken bones and maybe some internal bleeding and they can save him.

Love these TT IoM games. Two of the most overlooked racers this generation, they really deserve to be publicized by the racing game community as they are both very worthy. If I have criticisms, it's that there isn't really the same sort of depth here that you would find in any Gran Turismo or Forza racer, and not the kind of depth that you would find in a game like Ride either. It's purely about the Isle of Man TT and a few fictional but plausible British tracks that serves as kind of practice tracks for the big one. The other criticism is that I don't think that the 2nd game is sufficiently upgraded enough that anyone who already owns the first game should rush out and buy this game at full price. My advice for people who are interested, whether you own the first game or not is to wait a few months for the price to come down, or find it in a sale or something. If a full-price racing game to you looks similar to Forza in terms of it's volume of content, then you're going to be slightly disappointed with this game unless you buy it for maybe half the price. If a full-price racing game to you looks like something that is just great to play, fantastic handling, exciting and terrifying speed, something that will take a very long time to master, a massive real-life track that makes the at-this-point-rather-stale-and-overused Nürburgring look like a Go-Kart track. If all that is more important to you than a whole raft of content, then you'll be much happier with this game at a higher price. I've played most of the bike racing sims, and for me, TT IoM is the best available. Certainly the most fun-to-play, if not the most packed with content.

TT is bloody amazing you have bikes going over a hundred miles an hour meters away from spectators and sometimes with photographers in the road Also you know your bike ain't fast enough if it hits top speed before sulby (fastest part of the course a 1 mile ish straight where some bikes reach 200 mph

by watching the gameplay, i can say the movement is not realistic at all. atleast moto gp has a more realistic movement. graphics is acceptable. but third person camera should be a little downward. something is unusual here..
